Karbonn Launched Made in India Tab- Agnee
Innominds and Karbonn has unveiled Karbonn Agnee - the indigenous 3G tablet powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor - at Innovation Qualcomm India 2012. With QTI Reference Design (QRD) based on QTI's Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor, this 3G tablet has been designed and developed in India by Innominds.
Karbonn Agnee, powered by QTI's 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has a 7-inch screen, HDMI, 3G HSPA, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), 4000mAh Li-Polymer battery and supports 720p video.
The first variation of the table to be launched will be the Agnee L model, which is the most basic. The Agnee L will have a 7 inch display with a 4.0 Android OS – which the manufacturers say can be updated as and when Android updates. The table will have two cameras – in the front and at the rear. The front facing camera has a resolution of 1.3 MP front. The tablet will be priced below Rs 10,000.

Updated to ICS and it feels faster and smooth.
Buttons, as earlier, need to be be press hard. By any chance, is it possible that screen is capacitive touch and the button area is resistive?
Sir thats not possible because the screen has 2 layers : 1) Digitizer 2) LCD
Digitzer is a single layer ..not composed of 2 layers ..one resistive and one capacitive
and touchscreen controller has to be 2 in that case! LOL ...which is not possible i think
Try doing a factory reset!

This is Grade A quality hardware.
Some discussions going on about dual boot feature like xiaomi m2 phone, because of similar 2gb ddr3 ram. TI using it as reference platform for win 8 rt OS. Already running Jellybean and Ubuntu 12.
Maybe a triple boot ROM?

both these above mentioned handsets look good... However if you get your hands on these to try for a couple of minutes could help in making the decision to buy/ skip.
But, as it is Micromax- best seller in dual sim has very steadily came up with a new handset in a ouple of months of every launch, and always sold below the Mrp., we shall expect something more in the next couple of months..

No. As per Reliance it is not. In fact from the ESN, they have deduced the fact that, the ESN is too short to be the ESN. Their database can not get the RSN of this Motorola which was earlier active on the same RIM number.
So pl. do help if you could.
