Good news for LG 3000 users. The same method can be used on LG 3000 to download ringtones.

Try the data cable of LG 5340. (both USB and Serial may work fine for PC sync as well as ringtone download.)

I too need the data Cable for the LG RD 3100. Can anyone tell me where it is available? For LG 3100, both of you can use data cable of LG 5340. (both usb and serial).

Yes 3100 does not support net connect. But data cable of 5340 can be used in 3100, both USB and Serial. I have uploaded the driver in the following forum. Have a look. (USb cable without any box in the middle.) http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?showtopic=12874
