Times of India Offer: Blackberry 8830 and 8520
abhi.r replied to vikasmahajanz's topic in BlackBerry
Agree and rimweb top sellers are lot more reliable... But i smell price war coming in future for blackberrys not only here on rimweb but also with the genuine BB i.e. BB stores. Hope we see more cheaper blackberrys in future.. But if BB goes cheap... the Plus point of d feeling of owning a blackberry goes away too. -

yes I would not prefer to buy anything from indiatimes becoz they do not have any policies which safeguard interest of the buyers like e-bay does. -
Times of India Offer: Blackberry 8830 and 8520
abhi.r replied to vikasmahajanz's topic in BlackBerry
anyways, rimweb top sellers trust is enough to purchase phones from them. I dont trust Indiatimes shopping. Atleast if a piece comes out to be defective, our rimweb seller replaces it... indiatimes WONT. -
Is it true that iPhone (1st Generation to iPhone 4) do not support file transfer via bluetooth?

Times of India Offer: Blackberry 8830 and 8520
abhi.r replied to vikasmahajanz's topic in BlackBerry
India times also selling BLACKBERRY CURVE 8520 @ Rs. 10,990 Source: Economic Times, July 27th, 2010, Page No: 4 But they mentioned "6 Months sellers warranty only". Something fishy i guess I think they are importing unlocked handsets and selling them. I wud rather prefer Rimweb reputed sellers than Indiatimes shopping. Coz its the after sales support we get frm Rimweb experienced members. yesterday I saw "BEWARE" a programme on some business news channel, which is more like Consumer Rights Activits who helps and warns people about how different people make fool of customers and help them to fight these kind of companies. They said that Indiatimes shopping has not no provisions which can safeguard the interest of the Buyers. No refund policy... Even if the goods are not shipped, or defected or broken goods are shipped, or the goods shipped is does not match the description. IMO E-Bay is lot safer. -
I do not trust on imported Laptops... Though you get better models which are not available in India.. But if these tiny delightful gadgets have a minor manufacturing defect or get some minor problem ... replacing a part is almost cost you same as a new laptop. Also international warranty have many limitations. My cousin got a new viao from US 3 yrs ago with 1yr international warranty. within weeks his window vista got corrutp for some or the other reason, and viao service center said that they cannot install new windows here. you need to purchase a new licence... dont know why they didt provided him a recovery disc which he accidently forgot to bring from US. So I prefer to purchase a laptop from India from a reliable company who provides excellent after sales services. Coz i belive more or less every laptop is the same if all you want to do is surf the net, watch movies and do work in MS office... its just the quality of product, service and reliability of the company you purchase it from. this is just an opinion though. Good luck with your new laptop..

Affordable Blackberry Internet Services On Vodafone Prepaid! and now AirTel!
abhi.r replied to abhi.r's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Yea Telecommunication industry is very competitive with entry of new Operators. A trend which was started by Reliance. Reliance made it possible for each and every common man to own a mobile phone. Hats Off for reliance! Every operator tries to copy each others move to stay ahead of the competition. Soon all operators will be offering the same plan including our very own Reliance. This will definately promote sales of Blackberry Handsets in rimweb especially GSM ones, as CDMA BB cant be cracked for BIS -
70km a day! IMO you should opt for Diesel. or LPG (WagonR Duo) is also a gud economical option or CNG (if your city has any CNG filling station). Sleek cars... Go for Tata Indica (petrol/diesel)... though i doubt about built quality of Tata cars, but their after sales service is great. If you purchase Indica (diesel) it also has a great resell value as many Taxi Drivers want to have it. Hyundai i10/Maruti A-Star are gud options in terms of quality and after sale service. Chevy Beat and Spark are also good, as they comes with initial grand package of 3yrs warranty etc.. etc.. If you want diesel... Tata indica (as this is the only sleek diesel car available in the market imo). Petrol: Maruti A-Star and WagonR and Hyundai i10 looks sleek and good and have great after sales support! Just test drive each, and see which one you are most comfortable with in terms of getting in, getting out, seating position in driving seat and back seat. Happy Driving and Always Wear Your Seatbelts!

this phone has ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor my question is which is better? Snapdragon 1GHz or ARM Cortex A8 1GHz?? @ greatest IMO HTC built quality is better than Samsung. so HTC surely has that Tangiable factor advantage.. for S/w part... yea its possible that samsung can come up with more innovative UI with their Touchwiz.. Btw What is the difference in AMOLED and Super AMOLED?

Bharti Srilanka Cries Against Minimum Mobile Phone Price
abhi.r replied to srk006's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
yea, even I think that Mobile has become one of the basic necessities(roti, kapda, makaan aur mobile ) of Modern day world. People used it when it used to cost Rs. 16 (incoming/outgoing) and people use it when its free today (well almost free). For some people its like Life Support System today. -
