Wow they were announcing a specific date for 4G launch? I do have a reliance postpaid delhi circle number. I do not get any such message when I make calls. Well 4G sim was always free for existing cdma customers. I got mine by courier. Even I used to get messages to collect 4G sim for free from nearest Reliance store.

Using Sprint HTC One M7 here at North Delhi. Evdo Not working since yesterday. Only 1X Data which don't work (Sarcasm). Calls and sms are working fine for me here.

Nah, he was more interested to cancel my port out request.

Yesterday I generated a porting code, just in case reliance screw up. Today I got a call from reliance, I told him that I worry that my number might stuck in limbo while migrating to 4G or I might not like GSM network so to be on safer side I generated a port out code. He told me that he would forward my application for 4G migration on priority list but for that I need to close my port out request. Without it my number will not be migrated to 4G. I told him to stop wasting my time and do not close my port out request and I hung up my phone. Didn't get a call from him again.

When CDMA users will be upgraded to 4G.. I don't think there will be 3 months lock in period for porting out. But yes those users who have ported out of CDMA into RGSM they have to wait for 3 months lock in period.

I am in Delhi as well. Data is working fine in North Delhi here.

Since last 2 hours in Delhi I cannot send or receive calls /sms. Data (1x/Evdo) not working. When I call my number using other phone it says number not reachable. Signal Strength : -125dbm (3 out of 6 network signal) Don't know whether tower maintenance or screw up or being upgraded to 4G ;P Edit: UPDATE.. Calls/Sms and data back to normal now on CDMA number. No upgrade to 4G yet. Probably network screw up. Typical Reliance!

SSomebody posted a screenshot of sms which said 17-May launch date in Hyderabad. Anyone in Hyderabad confirm whether they started their 4G in Hyderabad and what's the status of CDMA there after the launch of 4G??

Well, at least that's a start! So they were serious about launching in May. Now waiting for similar SMS in Delhi circle.
