If you have nokia wap browser enabled phone, you can type*#browser# and can disable browser from popup menu

If backlight switch on frequently, there should, not only two towers but also two towers from different SDCA's. If two towers are at same SDCA the backlight never lighten up when switching. It is also sure that you will face call droping problem also My friend's LL had the same problem, which resolved by CC

@kragu BSNL giving us a normal MDN number (like 022 30333333)with EV-DO connection, same as WiLL Phone. and you will get the connection after proper proof verification. In Kerala they are demanding Photo Identiy Proof for connection

But BSNL giving us unlimited usage @250/month! and in malappuram(Kerala) I am surfing more than 150 kbps speed ( more than they offered )

Just go for BSNL NIC card or EVDO card I recommend EVDO modem even you selected 250/month plan - (sure you have to pay 3500 instead of 2800) because i had been getting pretty good (more than they offered) while surfing with my EVDO card having 250/month (1X) connection

I had purchased EVDO modem due to NIC un availability. but BSNL had said that they convertrd it to 1X service

I dont know what happened to BSNL, anyway thankyou!! I had been subscribed for 1X service for 250 PM - unlimited just look at the screen shots, in which speed I am surfing!!!!!!!!!!

You might have used WAP on your mobile, which uses much lesser quantity of data than while you surf full internet on your PC using your mobile as a modem. That is how you have been charged less while you surfed internet on your mobile. Surely No! While we using with WAP (through mobile) reliance charging per kb rate and while we using through dialup network they charging 0.40 to 0.60 per minute. as Sougata said WAP pages are very small in size, we will charged less as compared to dialup. Here is the big joke that RIM CC's dont know what is the tariff applicable while we are browsing through wap browser !!!! They repeatedly says about rworld rates, in my experiance they charging same tariff which applicable for rworld. one more thing, 6275's rworld is wap based and they set our default browser home page to rworld homepage
