  3. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

HTC Legend vs HTC Hero (GSM) - http://bit.ly/bjwUhY HTC Legend's Specifications (BTW Legend is the upgrade for Hero)
  4. ^ and decrease the call voice quality and data quality also to gsm levels??
  5. Mwc 2010: Htc Desire Has Android 2.1

Somehow I am liking the LEGEND even better than Desire due to its smaller form factor and FULL ALUMINUM SOLID BODY. Its an upgrade of Hero - I would like people to also see this complete presentation by HTC (though a little long 25 minutes) but it introduces all 3 phones -
  6. I would suggest to get a good handset from Sadikk's cradle as he can give you very good choices in that price range... I heard he was even giving a Blackberry for 5-6K... OR If you can wait, then wait for me to dispose off a Brand New Condition HERO in few days/1-2 month time for around 15K... as soon as I get my CDMA Nexus 1.. Just joking...
  7. Go Vegan

^ I can confirm that many medicines has animal derived components.... specially Vitamin sources like Vit B12, Liver Medicines etc... aur agar baal ki khaal nikalni hi hai to let me tell you that majority of ANTI-BIOTICS (Live saving medicine) like Penicillins, Ampicillin, Cefotaxime, Ceftriaxone etc. are derived from Bacteria... Now whether bacteria is animal or plant can be decided by all of you...
  8. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

Tip - To End a call properly on a Hero if the screen has turned off (as it does not have proximity sensor like Nexus One), press the end button TWICE in quick succession. First time to wake up the screen (if its switched off) and second time to actually end the call...
  9. Nexus One Gsm Unboxing + Dock

@sadikk nope , its not like that here; there's a an application for it inbuilt... will let u know the exact name... edit : It's called PassionQuickOffice Location: /system/app
  10. Nexus One Gsm Unboxing + Dock

Just found out it has "HIDDEN" pdf and office support... I was downloading a PDF on my Nexus One to later view on my laptop when a strange thing happened: Quickoffice popped up and opened the PDF upon the download finishing. It seems that this app has been pre-installed to deal with viewing PDFs, spreadsheets and Word documents (what I've tested so far), but I never heard any mention of it prior to or during the handset's launch. Figured I'd let the community know as it is a fairly nice perk that I wasn't expecting. Not being able to view such files on other android devices without an add-on app that was typically expensive was often a liability that I'm thrilled to be free of. just get the ASTRO file manager. When you tap on a PDF file, it will open, just like the "preview" button does in the Gmail app.
  11. Mwc 2010: Htc Desire Has Android 2.1

See HTC's unveiling of the new HTC Sense and three new devices, HTC Desire, HTC Legend and HTC HD mini, sporting the elevated user experience at the 2010 Mobile World Congress.

  13. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

^ disappointing... seems HTC sense UI is the culprit.... they just cant develop it fully for these phones on the newer os...
  14. Nexus One Gsm Unboxing + Dock

  15. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

^ there is java application support in hero, though in nascent stage...cant be sure about ngpay...
  16. Nexus One Gsm Unboxing + Dock

More Pictures added to complete the post... @tanveer - its gsm mate; I am personally waiting for a CDMA version as I am loyal to cdma... There is just too much to like, so I wont detail that much... But what I dont like - - missing sense ui interface of the Hero; that really added the gloss to android - many missing applications like adobe reader and office application viewer; even the tether game is missing in this... all 3rd party downloads need to be done for that... However I can safely say this is the best phone around as on date... price I got for was around 35K (inclusive of 2.5K for the dock)...
  17. Nexus One Gsm Unboxing + Dock

Unboxing Video Part 2 added - see first Post
  18. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

modaco 2.2 is nothing special afaik; you can easily update to it; it is based on sprint 1.56 rom only, same as modaco 1.2

root it again... no problems.... 10 minute job... check xda link... - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583291 Offtopic - Nexus 1 in my hand, thinner and lighter than Hero (unbelievable), Watch out for Unboxing... Including VIDEO...
  21. Sprint Htc Hero - The Latest Android Kid On The Block

^ hmmm.... I didnt shift it to techie... anyways... it requires meid to be registered with tata... do that and u will get it to work...
  22. Htc Droid Eris

^ the rate shud be 500 less than hero not more... just a suggestion... because I know complete internals and features of both the phones...
  23. Connecting Desktop & Netbook

I would suggest Netgear... comes with 4 LAN Ports... good for normal size house... though range less in furthermost areas... My model was WGR614... though it must have been updated now to include draft N wireless... mine was just A/B/G....
