Yeh Brilliant, thats really wat i like. I did mention it once on one of the 6130 topics, sometime back. Such small things really make it good! am also 1 of those aspirants for 6255-like phones. But am not going for it so soon. Maybe 2006 wud b the time for me.

kesav, all operators want to move on to 3G. most have even done some investments n are ready to launch too. Everybody is awaiting for the spectrum policy issue to resolve, once that gets done, u'll see India moving into 1 more lap of Telephony revolution too!

I dont see Number portability coming in India so soon... Its jus making some hue n cry, here n there... the baby has to mature alot more, to see all that!

Two ways to look at it. Possibly he's getting some dore to pump it in his GSM biz from them, by offloading some stake. I believe, he's really looking for money to increase services. The other way to see it is, that he wants to offload the entire stake such that he can have enuf money to put it in RIM biz. And thats the reason he was actually making announcements for increasing investment in RTL last month such that it gets in the eyes of the investors! Well u really can never know wat goes on in the minds of the biz ppl! We've seen the RIL Stock grow in their time of dispute! Ppl have made big money then.... and the most beneficial ppl have been the ambanis themselves! Here again, its for them!

umm, the home edition hardware requirement dont seem to be that bad, by the time Windows Vista (or better known amongst lay ppl as Windows 2006) comes out in the market or gets to each tom, **** n harry's desktop, 3gigs of CPU speed will become the norm of the day! We are actually almost there by now! And moreover, softwares that am using of Autodesk already require us to have atleast 1GB RAM. So with Windows Vista, its better to get atleast 2-3 GB RAM(Some for OS n the rest for 2-3 S/ws)

Wid DAPO, u get a 1 yr warranty of ur handset and a 3yr Insurance. So if u have to get any repairs done, u need to pay the Service Center first and then u have to claim from the insurance company. most have seen that the insurance company is not paying up!! so if the repair is a big one like a PCB Change and can run in 1000s, then better file a FIR with Police and claim a lost phone under insurance and pay 1500 and get a brand new phone!! Search the forums, and u'll get more info on all of this!

He's talking abt a similar CableNet, thing that i use! Its a leased line that the local Cable Guy takes from SIFY,DISHNET or Any other BroadBand Company and distribute amongst ppl. And yes its an unlimited download plan!! Happy Goin, cracker!

I've had a very good experience with PAFEX! It reaches out to many small small towns and pincodes where most big courier companies are not able to reach! The rates are also pretty reasonable!

ani_meher, All of us have noticed that we were able to send a couple of tones from the Yahoo or Rediffmail accounts once or max twice... But after that it jus didn't work. So dont know abt that now... Maybe u can try sending the tone from some other account and see if it works! Other than that, the MMS Portal might give u some trouble for the 1st 2 days... Hold ur breath and keep trying! It shud work!

Recently i had mailed the Chairman's Office abt the Weak Network that i get inside the premises of my office. They offered me with a Signal Booster for my phone. But unfortunately that signal booster is not compatible with LG 6130 as yet. He said that they offer it free for Postpaid Customers and charge 700bucks from the Prepaid Customers for that booster!

it works for N6255 probs coz thats one more handset which has native MMS. 6130 n 6000 also have Native MMS. MMS in these phones is not part of R-World.
