Spectrum for Customer Base for 3G Rollout in India
Chirag replied to @ksh@T's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Unfortunately Indian Marxists dont believe in letting "foreigners" "loot" Indians by selling their stuff which is "not manufactured" in india. Huh?? Spectrum for now! Chuck that anujit! Spectrum, i guess, is going to be the hottest thing of the current fiscal. Infact, Junior Ambani might decide on his investments in RIM upon the policy. Coz that wud decide the future and scope of RIM. So keep ur fingers crossed. Rather, make a switch to GSM, if the deal gets better there(No need to sob with Ambanis for this ) -
I had arranged for New Samsung N191 for someone sometime back, in Mumbai. They were priced at 2400-2450. If someone is looking, let me know, i'll try and find out. I'm not going to get into shipping it to any other city. If u r from Mumbai, then i'll get into it.

Spectrum for Customer Base for 3G Rollout in India

Lolz, u need to tell this to the Marxists! Hope u stay alive! -
Lolz! U simply didn't get wat i mean. Not everything has to be implied literally! Let me try once again. As far as the rates go, i really dont care. But maybe and probably there is scope for reduction with R-Connect Tariffs. R-Connect like R-World has been quite a success simply becoz of the Mobility feature and the Speeds. Now if u label R-Connect as good as ur Airtel GPRS, then u were jus lucky. But most other subscribers of GPRS haven't been that lucky to get those speeds. Now if R-Connect has been that huge a success and a roar amongst the ppl of india, i believe, they can sell it a premium. As they've said, Good things come at a price. If u cant handle the price, move out!! Period! So if u dont want mobility and want non-mobile stuff, its already present wid ur BSNL/MTNL. who wants those speeds? If you have the pockets to go for EDGE enabled handsets, then go for that stuff. And if u have the pockets for mere 3000 bucks, then go for RIM with R-Connect. Thats how the deal is. Dont forget, u live in a Capitalist and Globalised Economy. So keep ur mind cool, and make ur move. Corporates dont work with the mindset of wat ppl want!! Sorry! Corporates and Globalised India works wid the market sensation. If the market disapproves of the tariffs, they r bound to reduce tariffs and make them acceptable. and if its successful, they will continue to suc*k the money till it milks! Most of us do the same in our own businesses! U and me discussing here, doesn't make a damn difference to them! Coz the cow still milks for them. So chill !

Search for one of the topics in R-Connect Forum which has the same issue which u mentioned now. There members have also discussed abt the best plans which they could go for. Maybe for R-Connect even a FWP or I-Phone wud be a better option. Just check all that up. Its widely discussed on our forums, earlier.

Putting the Shopping Link on all the pages of the forum, i believe, wont be a great idea. So it shudn't take up the space of a logo. The present thing is decent enuf. Maybe it can additionally go on the index page of the forum. The idea of putting the Link of "Browse as Guest" is to 'encourage' un-registered visitors at the site to peek into the forum and see wats going on here. By the way i liked all the designed icons for them and am enjoying the new look. Infact the Webber skin goes more wid the homepage and the flow automatically seems to be there. Maybe Webber could be made as the default forum skin!

I wouldn't buy the argument, that since u r not using the Mobility feature of ur RIM, u shudn't be paying for that feature while using R-Connect!!! Thats absurd, according to me. Are u trying to tell that since u move at snail's pace while driving a car in Mumbai, u shudn't be paying for PETROL??? U could have easily used a bicycle to reach that destination in the same time! Is that how u compare? If u r not mobile while using R-Connect, its not RIM's fault. you shud hence be using Internet thru a fixed connection and not a mobile connection. I hope u r getting my point! My argument is not that R-Connect charges are rock-bottom. But i see some ppl talking something ridiculous. Buy a landline to make calls cheaper since u r fixed; and buy a cellphone since u r mobile all the time.

Before u find the prices for the phones, i really suggest u search for the fone on this forum and find out its connectivity issues for R-Connect. 2112 is supposedly in the blue for R-Connect dialer installation on the desktop PC. Jus research that, its more important. And yeah, not all phones are R-Connect enabled. So please check up wid the dealer if the phone can be used for R-Connect as well. A better place to find this would be http://www.relianceinfo.com where under every handset, they've mentioned whether R-Connect or R-World is available on the phone.

Damn cool ya!! Wonder if radio is in the pipeline

If u r not so much for CAM, then u can dump 6225, coz anyways its image quality on the screen of the phone is so sad that it makes u feel as if u've made a wrong choice! rest is all good in that phone, including its FM.

Whatever!! Wat i'm interested in knowing is the kind of coverage these operators provide. Is that similar to wat reliance provides here(largely city based, bad highway coverage). Whats the deal there. Claims r big for RIM as well, but as far as coverage goes, theres still lots more to be seen.

my cablenet guy gives the same plan at that rate. Wat i get is approx 10-11kBps at 550/month. Which is quite good i guess. Moreover, arun, these fellows somehow make sure that we get atleast these speeds, constant. Speeds can increase sometimes, but doesn't decrease than promised. I dont know how they do it, but they do cap the speeds somehow.

Ah! Thats wat is required! Keep going, tanveer! << Edited ur post for those italics u needed! >>

Reliance, Bharti, In Deal With Pak Telecom
Chirag replied to kawalghai_chd's topic in Reliance Communications
did he mean stop interaction or increase interaction ! -
This i believe is nothing new. We have things like these in Mumbai for more than 2 yrs now. And yes, its called Reliance ka broadband internet. The thing, they say, is that they take a DSL Broadband connection like thing from Reliance(a leased line) of say 1Mbps or more. And divide it out amongst their customer base for something like 20-50kbps each. Thats wat i've been using for now 3 yrs. Though my provider uses Dishnet and VSNL for his needs. I pay 550 bucks a month (inclusive taxes) for UNLIMITED Data Transfer.

Ah! Refreshing new stuff huh! Gr8

Be a lil descriptive abt wat u r saying... Getting LG 6000 wid cable is not the issue. If the SMS Sender is a file. Zip it and attach in the next post.
-
For all u N6255 Guys, the model is listed in the handset list now.. So go ahead and mend ur profiles!

Becoming hot is because of the charging, i agree. But i guess the battery lasts quite better. How well does it last for R-Connect?
