Mohsin, jus to inform you >> FIR is a basic thing. In every Police Station, there are phone nos of Zonal Heads mentioned on a Board, where its clearly written, that if any cop does not register your FIR, you must immediately call the Zonal Head. Another thing, for Insurance reasons, FIRs are absolutely important and hence you can clearly explain them and they'd do your work immediately. If nothing else, for such things, involve your Insurance Agent to settle claims n FIR stuff! You've paid him for such situations. Take his help.

Have tonnes of such experiences myself. But taking Rang De Basanti as an example, i'd say, its better to take life as you want to. There is no fixed or suggested way at things. There r times when u got to bribe n move. And then there r times when you need to fix them up properly. 1 thing i've realised, the cops do have bigger attitude than any of those customer care or HR ppl discussed elsewhere in the forums. They behave like Moral Police or the Gods of the City. It has come with the achievements they have got within this city. After the 93 riots, they've brought quite alot of peace in the city like Mumbai. People are not allowed to stroll late nights, even if they r not doing anything wrong or drinking. These kind of activities have brought quite alot of things under control, but then there r traffic cops who r jus waiting at one corner, for someone to jump a signal, instead of being in the center of the road to make sure ppl dont jump signals. So there r times u can fool them, there r times u may bribe them and then there r times you shud take their case royally! Kudos to that journalist who made some difference!

Is this fast resolution and quick help come to make sure the image of your company is not harmed? Does that mean that if customers like zehergibi had not come into a public forum for redressal, u would have not looked into their grievances? My handset charger was not working properly since its cable was gradually breaking off the end... So i visited the LG Service Center, and To my delight they immediately replaced the charger! And i had ppl who were ahead of me in the queue who were being told by the Service center guys that their handset was out of warranty period(1 yr) and hence they need to now purchase a new charger! Wht was amusing was, tht they told them, tht they dont repair the charger, they dont open it! Then wht is a service center for?? Just a suggestion, before ur handset warranty period(1 yr) is over, break the charger and get it replaced!!! atleast u'l be sure tht u have a new charger wid u now!! hehe.. Moreover, i'd like to know wht things r covered under this warranty? And how is insurance different from warranty(i am not talking abt loss of handset). are all the services for repair of handset absolutely free till 1 yr??(like breakin of glass etc) And if they rn't, then wht all is insured? and how much is the insurance? My frnd who accompanied made a comment: "Looking at the no. of times u've visited the Service Center in 1 yr, be assured of huge expenses from this sick handset in the coming yrs!"... So true !

Jus go and take a form from the RWW regarding insurance of DAPO phones. You need to fill that form, tick the right category and make the FIR in that format from the nearest Police Station. Submit that back to the RWW or the Town Office that manages the Insurance of DAPO phones, and they'll give you a new phone.

The offer is quite interesting!! monthly outgo of 999 is the only hindrance, but hi-end users can think of shifting to this!

If you want to know the better one out of LG 6230 and N 6235, i'd suggest you go for N6235. You will not regret!

Acquiring a RConnect Card would be useful to you as u'd be travelling in India. But, the cost of the card is expensive and also its resale wont be much! Either buy it from someone who'd buy it back from you at a pre-decided price. Else i'd suggest to pick up a good RIM handset which provides equally good RConnect services and it wud be a far cheaper option for sure!

not very early, dude!! they were all charging on a per second basis and moved onto 30 sec and 1 minute pulse, this is all very close to when reliance had entered the market.

I agree kesav, that it would definitely be beneficial. But, the very fact that cellphone operators moved from per Second pulse to per Minute pulse, got them getting their call rates down(1 of the reasons). But if it goes back to 1 sec, then call rates wud increase again!

I dont use rapidshare or megaupload. So dont know how it wud or wud not work with them. My cablenet, hardly disconnects. very rarely, that happens, and the dialer quickly redials if it disconnects, so the download doesn't stop, it jus keeps continuing!

I downloaded the MASS DOWNLOADER. Its quite good. Found it to be easy to use and understand. features like disconnecting modem after download and system shut down after download, are helpful!
