Its a paid news kind of thing.

The Govt tabled the CAG report which has indicted Anil Ambani for having a stake in Swan Telecom violating the ban on cross-holding of stake more than 10%.. Anil Ambani already owned a telecom company and he can have stakes in another telecom company only upto 10% of the total worth of the company.. But he held a larger stake in Swan and dint disclose it when Swan applied for licenses.. Also Anil Ambani was favoured for his gsm license as his bank draft for surety was dated prior to the announcement by the minister for paying the surety.. What this means is that Anil already knew of the minister's move.. We should remember that Rcom was the first company to pay the bank guarantee on the evening when Raja announced the decision.. Bad days for Raja and Anil.

Also Vodafone would like to lure customers into submitting documents instead of being fined by Trai/DoT.

Whats the price for this set?

Kanaga you are right.. There are people who would still find Rcom better.. I understand that Rcom no longer sets benchmark for tariff or service quality,,

After banging my head against the walls of Rcom for last 10 days today I decided to give up my 4 year old RCDMA number. I got an MTS number for Rs. 100 with Rs. 100 TT, meaning virtually free sim. I did 30 recharge for all local calls@1/2paise per second and another 30 recharge for 100local/national sms per day. Going by my sms usage which is no where close to 100/day I think I will be better off with this plan. I am happy after a long time.

Tata did the right thing by having a joint venture for its GSM business..

Rcom has been mis managed for a long time.. They have invested mindlessly for a patheric GSM business.. RGSM is no more a joke to me.. RGSM should be put up for sale.. Let Mukesh turn it around.. Split Rcom into RCDMA and RGSM.. Even if some investor comes to Rcom's rescue,I dont see Rcom making windfall profits to come back into pink of its health.. Now I understand why Rcom poached Airtel guys to do some course correction.. And may be thats the reason Rcom is increasing the cost of its packs.. I dont expect Rcom to be a leader in cost cutting now..

Well Junior Ambani has one big business and that is loss making.. Serious matter this for Rcom investors..

Whenever I send sms from Samsung metro tv, the other person gets 2 sms of the same everytime.. Is someone facing such an issue?
