Ported my prepaid Airtel number to RGSM because wife has 440 plan on RCDMA. Porting finally happened on 5th March. So far no signal and other issues with RGSM and they seem to have put me on per second billing (1p/sec for STD/Local).

Thanks. Will check local markets here in Bangalore. SP Road and National market etc.
Guys any ideas about a trusted local grey market dealer? I am not sure if it would be available with bill etc. I am bit hesitant to buy from gray market unless the seller is recommended.

I have somebody coming over from US and can buy this bluetooth handsfree. I don't care for the size but quality of voice should be good. Is this a good handset for the purpose? Anybody having used this handset or have some other suggestions in handsets with noise cancellation technology (Dual mic), Please share.
It is available at Amazon for $45.

I am also facing the same issue with my BB8130 since morning. I guess it is Reliance blocking cl*ned handsets.

I meant it should not be built in into the Laptops. One can always use a external Optical Drive (if needed). Macbooks and top of the line HP laptops already do that and so do the netbooks.
-
The optical drive should be phased out. t takes a lot of valuable space on laptop without adding much value. In my last of couple of laptops I have used it only to Install OS and Now a days one can install the OS from a USB flash drive. I

Google to merge smartphone and tablet versions of Android
Google has promised Android updates will arrive every six months, with the next full version bringing together the best of the smartphone and tablet editions.
The Android roadmap was laid out by Google's executive chairman and former CEO Eric Schmidt, who was delivering a keynote speech at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Regarding the follow up to Gingerbread (version 2.3 of Android) and the tablet-focused Honeycomb (version 3), Schmidt said: "you can imagine the follow up will start with an I, be named after dessert, and will combine these two." That version is expected to be called "ice-cream sandwich".
Schmidt also showed off a new video-editing app called Movie Studio for Honeycomb tablets.
Schmidt said Chrome OS devices will start to appear on the market soon. "You will see sometime in the spring hardware manufacturers will start delivering," he said.
Google said at the launch of the netbook-oriented Chrome OS last year that devices would hit shelves by this summer.
Where's Larry?
One member of the MWC audience asked why Larry Page, Schmidt's replacement as CEO, wasn't delivering the speech. Schmidt said it was "part of the deal" that sees Page take over as CEO and Schmidt stick around as "executive chairman."
"Larry said, 'Eric you get to fly around more'. He’s extremely happy that I’m here," Schmidt said. "Larry’s probably asleep at the moment, but if he’s up, he’s busy working, at his desk."
Schmidt was also asked about the deal between Microsoft and Nokia, and admitted Google failed to convince the latter to use Android as its main mobile platform. “We would have loved it had [Nokia] chosen Android; the offer's still open," he said. "We certainly tried.”

awesome!! Google keeps on innovating. I am so dependent on Gmail that any add on security is Welcome. I would even pay for this kind of feature.

This is like two very sick patients coming together.

As they Say "Accepting a problem is the first step in solving it". Good to see Nokia admitting that they have a huge issue at hand. Android+Nokia would be an exciting combo.

Bought the Panasonic Lumix LX5 premium Point and shoot camera.
I absolutely love the 24 mm Leica lens and the large size sensor. Got it from US for $400.
