    hi everyone, i bought a new virgin mobile htc desire 510, by default it is in "Ruim only", when i insert reliance sim it gives an error as invalid sim, please help me do i need to change any settings in dfs or i should update prl... Thanks in advance...HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY

    There is a dedicated thread for 510 with compete easy unlocking method. Nobody can help you more than that.

    I am not able to get VoLte i.e. voice on iPhone 6 or 6 plus, with JIO sim. Anybody got voice on Iphone with JIo sim. Data Working fine. Trying get some other phone to test voice.

    Great ji. You got a Sim. How? And please give us a review regarding coverage and data speed.

    in Vizag, it is 16mbps, vijayawada it is 14mbps, Hyderabad it is 8-12 mbps speed

    Can you pls test your sim on ipad? I am keen to know if it supports.

    Many of you must have heard the buzz going on about the new PC/Mac compatible OS which the company claims should work on most Intel based machines. Its essentially an Android x86 project based Lollipop Desktop class operating system with multi-tasking in separate windows, taskbar, right click, notification, free updates and common ctrl commands.

    Its basically in simple words Android for PC. Here is the official link http://www.jide.com/en/remixos-for-pc

    Even though the official release is 12th Jan and its gonna be free for everyone. The way of things in todays date is leaked stuff online and so remix os is already available to download if you know where to Google.......

    Most of the times when we are on our systems its more for consuming content and less for productivity. Its the case at least with majority users. We need something that boots/shuts very fast and responds quick. Gives easy access to basic day to day tasks. Remix OS could be the answer, at least in making.

    You get access to 1.5 million compatible apps in Google Play Store. Your favourite fun & productive apps. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Angry birds or whatever you like most. It supports usb drives and hdd. Hopefully it can also breathe the much needed life in old discarded obsolete machines which can still run android faster than your average phone/tablet.

    Download it now or wait for 12th Jan. You dont have to take the plunge putting in your HDD partition at first, just install it on a pen drive to run/test if it works and you like it. Please leave your experience/feedback here for rest of the members.

    Sorry for the late update. I was out of station for a few days.

    The whole issue was with the SIM card.

    I tried with my another OMH SIM card and it was able to connect to the network in 1x mode.

    Strange thing is both the SIM cards are RECRUC06 series and my original OMH SIM card still works with my Motorola Droid Maxx.

    But still I am not able to connect with EVDO data with the new SIM card. Data is working only with 1x mode.

    I tried sending HSD to 55444 but it says that my request could be processed at this time.

    Can somebody help me with this ?

    in my experience you will get faster result with a service request created through their instacare app.

    I have made purchases many times sitting here in India. Don't think Indian ip matters to them. A week back was my last order. Only important thing is they don't accept international billing address for credit cards. Just the ones issued in USA. So in there FAQs they have given a specific address to use as billing in case you are using your Indian credit card.

    Here it is

    During checkout, in place of your non-US billing address, use this exact billing address:

    10780 Kempwood Dr.

    Houston, TX 77043

    And yes they don't mail your stuff to freight forwarders.

    Please god rama, if it supports cdma, i will give my iFocus m810 to wife and buy it. It has good looks and specs and decent set of accessories available.

    Don't drag lord rama in this. I don't reckon he cares what phone your wife will get and what you decide to buy. Not now and not when he was on earth as a mortal.

    Just my two cents.

    Best buy will not ship to ppo box or international package forwarders. Sometimes they will cancel the orders if you're placing from indian IP addresses.

    So it's better to get someone from US to buy and bring it with them.

    Hi All,

    This is my first post on rim web.

    I found this thread to be right to post my problem on.

    If I am wrong do let me know so that i can delete this and post it on the proper thread.

    I have recently purchase an Moto X2 (XT-1096) verizon version.

    I previously had a micro sim cut to nano.

    Since this phone requires RG series sim for being able to use the network, I managed to get a sim in grey market cut to nano.

    Voice and SMS are working fine with this new RG series Sim but there is no sign of data working.

    I had sent an SMS for EVDO activation since this is a new sim and got it activated again.

    I added alll the required apn found and mentioned in the forum/customer care/internet.

    But nothing has worked.

    GSM working like butter. No issues at all.

    My phone as android 5.1 .

    Please help.

    It won't work with any regular sim. Data can only function with special sim provided & activated by gurus here.
