its funny i remember some indian player saying that these so called whites hurt players by commenting on the players wives.. and they went scot free then inform virender sehwag was fined, and dropped for excessive umpiring .. no other cricketer has been subjected to such treatment despite more severe form of umpiring by these "goraas" .. i think its a shame that bcci slept over such issues. its always asian nation players who chuck/ have defective bowling. the same by a white is legitimate there is deep rooted aparthied in cricket. every one knows it and accepts it. its time they pull out of icc and join hands with icl and start a parallel cricket if u remember ur child hood days when the owner of the bat was out , he wud still bat.... otherwise bat wud go back with him, and play had to be stopped........... i think australia is doing just the same.. if they feel they nmight lose.1 book ur umpires 2 .play racism card stop being gulaams of the icc- managed by goraas i think all these third umpires are appointed such that they are always in favour of these white nations -who get special attention of icc.. or vice versa down down icc down down australia

i cud fit a 58 mm uv lens on my dsc h1. it does not sit on the lens but the barrel which holds lens hood. u can even fit fish eye lens according to accessories booklet . hetal patel.... Another advantage in DSLR is Filter Kits we can have Ultra Violet (UV) Filter Plorisation Filter to Reduce Glares on Front Glass which can not be There in Prosumers Camera.

hi amtraq.. i did not know about a prosumers until i bought one ... till then i only thought there were point and shoot and slrs as is the case with film cameras. so i thought of sharing about this range i thought prosumer wud fit in well bcos of limited budget and expecting family members to take shots( where image stabilisation and face tracking will be very useful) as u suggested pocketability is a major factor ... i think it is the no of effective pixels which shud be compared rather than size and pixels start losing their true sense after 5 mp ...it looks like marketing gimmik .. i have dsc-h1 with 12x optical zoom +image stabilisation nd sony point shoot without image stabilisation + 3x optical zoom. pictures in 2 megapixel in dsc look better than 8 megapixel of point shoot. so u have to have right blend of megapixel and optics to get good pictures.

chinese have dominated the toy industry of the world .. hence the mobile might also feel like one check http://www.china-mobile-phone.com

i agree with what dhiraj kaile says and dear amtraq, canon S5IS is not aim and shoot or point and shoot. it is prosumer camera which goes well with both professionals as well as newbies. the other cameras in this range are panasonic fmz8, and sony dsc h9,sony dsc h7. they give u excellent results .... and the OPTICAL zoom in these cameras are 12X, please note it is not digital zoom. advantage of these cameras(panasonic fmz8, and sony dsc h9,sony dsc h7, canon s5is) is u get zoom with a range of 36mm-432mm which is never heard of in dslrs. 1. in case of dslrs u are forced to maintain 3 different zoom lenses , to cover such a range of zoom. and sum total weight of such 3 lenses might come to 2kg, and u have to carry the body of slr as well. u have to shell out rs 10000- 20000 for each of these lenses. 2. if u are cahnging lenses in dslrs ... u shud be careful .. not to let dust in side the body. and now technologies have come up with dust reducing mechanism .. which adds to cost 3. u are cramped with limited zoom range like 18 - 55 mm/ 55 mm-200mm/ 200-300 mm. mens u cant take a group photo and then take a zoom photo in one setting. u have to keep changing lenses. althogh 18-200 mm lenses aare available.. they are quite expensive 4. most of prosumers mentioned above have image stabiliszation. which is a boon at high zoom. if u are buying slr.. lenses with vibration reduction are very expensive. 5..prosumers also have face recognition .. which add to ease of taking photos 6.. prosumers can be handled by any lay man when u put it in auto mode. 7. prosumers give u all the features of slr like aperture priority.. shutter speed priority and full manual ..controls... plus standard. i have used sony dsc h1, and have got excellent results which common men think of as slr. and it reproduces results even in the hands of any family member . and it is damn cheap compared to dslrs. pls dont mistake me as some one who hates dslrs... i have RESPECT for them. i feel they are a must for 1. professionals who want very perfect photos which are beyond the understanding of non professionals. and 2. those aspiring to be recognised in the professional photographic world. i want to buy them.. but to get that zoom range i have to shell 4 times the money as that of prosumer camera. if u are thinking of urself to be in the photos and expecting ur family members to take photos for u ...pls reconsider ur decision of buying slr... if u still want dslr u can reply.. u will get various combination of lenses with varying zooms with same body for more tecnical details visit www.dpreview.com u can pm me as well

i was having problems with battery- lasting just one day..after about 17 months usage...the battery meant for this handset is lgip-a 800. the green one i had swapped my friend's battery lgip a 1000 of lg 6250 and it worked i took a gamble and bought the lgip a1000 battery (orange) for rs 570 from lg service center and it is working well. it lasts me a whole 36 -48 hours. i am happy with it for last 1 month. my battery compartment does not close like before. it shows a tiny gap to accomodate bulkier battery can this be a soln for those troubled with lesser battery life but happy with current handset

Guide For Using Lcd Monitor As Tv
srikanth_kv replied to rbdhoot's topic in General Technical Discussion
i think we sud discuss the price with respect to 1. size of monitor 2. contrast ratio 3. response time 4.Maximum Display Resolution (dpi) if u go for a very low contrast tratio u get monitors for a throw away prices and will be disappointed with display i think comparision of brands must be made keeping these aspects in mind rather than a brand as a whole srikanth
