    UP[E] only and that too in places where aircel has launched 3G. But aircel is the most lazy operator who has launched 3G in few cities only...

    aircel 3g is present here in lucknow (UP-E). i believe, the duo (aircel & rcom) will rock, as both are equally lazy..

    hi faiz.. i didn't check as cdma nos. are still working.. had ported out 6 (prepaid) and upgraded 2 (postpaid). so, technically, all the nos. are in transition period. do not have any 4g handset (thankfully, all the handsets are global, so 2g of reliance 4g will work).

    reliance mobile stores are looting customers and it seems, company officials are aware / promoting such things.. what i came to know is, officially 4g SIM is free for everyone, be it prepaid or postpaid, and recharge of 1 Rs. is also free.. RMS are taking undue advantage by taking 25 / 100 / 150 / 200 or even 250 from ignorant customers. 😠

    BTW, cdma is still working with evdo, in lucknow.. 😝

    i doubt that they will issue port code to post paid customers easily. Migration to 4G can not be treated as new connection so 90 days binding cannot be enforced. I too faced issues in getting port codes of 2 of my postpaid nos. i was getting error "sorry your request can not be processed". raised complaines through 198 and got SR nos., mailed to customer care with a copy to appealate authority. after 2 days i was able to get the UPC.

    One more observation, i got port code easily when i made request with nokia 6265. and when i was trying with nokia lumia 928, was getting errors. not sure, just an observation, though..

    what else we can expect from Reliance.. as all the decisions were taken by salaried individuals and owner of the company is least interested in analyzing those decisions and gives go ahead blindly.. secondly, these kind of transitions includes various departments, but in R-ADAG, i never came across a thing, which is known as "SYNCing".

    technological upgradation is always welcomed with open arms but not at this cost.. rcom always took the customers for granted (understood this during my 5.5 year tenure in ADAG). so adieu reliance.. generating port codes for all the rcdma nos., me and my family members possess..

    got a call from a local r-gsm #. the lady claimed that she is from reliance. she asked me to do '1299' as i had received 4g SIM through courier. When i told her that i am not interested in 4G, she told me that cdma services will be discontinued by 30.05.2016 and i will loose my no. I simply asked her to send the mail or SMS regarding closure of CDMA. she said that i am communicating on behalf of r-com. i said ok fine be ready for a legal notice as the contract period of reliance cdma is till 2021. she simply hung up the phone without saying anything..

    visited another fofo for 4g sim and there the executive told me Rs. 300 per SIM. when i asked the bifurcation, he did mention 97 Rs. FRC but regatding other 203 Rs. he went blank and started emphasizing on 1 GB 4G data..
