    Hello all,

    First let me start off by saying "sorry". I have not been on the forum or skype support much lately because I have been busy getting our new tool ready for "official" public release, as well as working on a ios 7 untethered jailbreak project. Many of you have talked to my partner Rich and have requested me. So again I must apologize for my absence. I've also gotten pm's as well.     Anyday 1x is more stable than edge

     

    This also means: EDGE is unstable.

    Infact, if you are not in a well covered area, expect your speed to vary anything between few bytes per second to few kilobytes per second with EDGE.

    If you are in a well connected area, your download speed will be around 15 kilo bytes per seconds but it will keep fluctuating.

    If you are in congestion free well connected area, you speed will be about 20 kilo bytes per second.

     

    This is my experience with Airtel in various states.

    Even me using Airtel on edge but my experience is very bad most of the time it shows E but data doest work

    Takes hell lot of time to connect

    In today's scenario u will hardly get congestion free network as ever other person is using Internet on mobile

    I just got a global Razr M from hetal. While everything else is working fine (including receiving SMS), I am not able to send sms using CDMA (have not tried GSM). The sending fails. I installed Go SMS pro and also changed the smsc number as given elsewhere on this forum but still no luck. I am able to send SMS to reliance commercial numbers starting with 5. What do I need to change in order to make SMS work?

    Also I would want to activate EVDO. I tried sending the SMS to 55444 but i got the error that the command was invalid or something. Any help?

    Waah Waah .. relief for endless CC calls and emails ...

    Any number for deactivation ? As it is sometimes needed for transfer of number to other handset. (they need to deactivate HSD to transfer afaik).

    half relief at least. now deactivation might get easy too soon.
