  1. went to tata shop today and the salesperson confirmed about the offer. i was planning to take this scheme but i didnt had a cdma phone and tata guys showed me 3-4 sets all huewai and a samsung but i didnt like them. i have decided to buy a omh set or similar sets which can support tata sim. as this is going to be my secondary and first cdma phone please advice me which handsets i can consider in 2.5-3k range.

about the offer i personally feel that this will best suit people who use 2 phones. one for short calls and this one for long calls otherwise they might not be able to save much especially in std calls if they dont make long duration calls.

it is unclear whether biggies like airtel and rcom will respond to this move but i think new operators like mts and aircel will have have to do something about it.

i also feel that it is a long term strategy by tata and and they will be able to sustain it profitabily in long run.

please suggest me a good handset and also express your views about this move by tata.

  2. i am using samsung s3310 from past 2 months. good phone sleek and light weight. voice quality while talking is excellent ringtone and music quality is also good however speakers are on the backside due to which if u keep it one bed or any soft surface the sound from speaker may seem a bit low. battery is also good not excellent but good. u can talk for 6 hrs on one charge and phone lasts around 3 days on standby if used moderately. screen size is big which is good. good value for money way better build quality and looks than similar priced nokia phones. i recommend you go for it.

4)velocity2999-8mbps with 50gb limit(looks a reasonable limit) with 300 mins of calls free.

  4. i got a sim card on 3rd feb in the evening and it was activated next day. the network reception in delhi&ncr is very bad as of now as in noida where i live there is no network on the ground floor forget the basement. only able to get good network in my apartment which is on the third floor in my room as it is along the highway. i also went to delhi and network there was also not good as the phone will not show signal in certain areas even on the road. there was no network in basement parking of select citywalk mall in saket. i called customer care and complained about this and those people told me that they are setting new towers every day and the signal will improve shortly. one other problem i am having as of now is i am not able to call reliance gsm from my idea mobile as idea will say the number you are dialing is not correct. i would like like to hear review from my fellow delhiites about their experience with reliance gsm. please write your experiences guys. thank you. :GirandoOjos:
