i beg to differ, GSM voice quality can never be as good as CDMA...For voice clarity , coverage, and data CDMA is the best.
In western country GSM 3g is not as successful as the CDMA in US
lest we forget all 3g technology is based on CDMA
i never understood this voice clarity thing....in my case i always found tht no one can give voice clarity as good as airtel.....i m using 1 airtel 1 reliance and 1 tata no... so clarity wise i ll put them in following order
1. airtel
2. tata (cdma)
3. reliance (cdma)
in airtel u can listen the breath of other person whereas in reliance its worst u ll get voice with treble & bass
....i dont know whats wrong with me but this is all of me n my frends experience....... people are with cdma due to thier low call rates not due to any technical advantage of voice(which i never found with cdma
)...and whats the use of comparison if till now reliance or tata cannot deliver long msgs (msg with more thn 160 character) in once....
its just my thought...i never used data services on cdma

I am having an idea of purchasing Dual SIM(GSM+CDMA) mobiles with long lasting battery life.Most of the time i will be in calls n using to handsets n it s very difficult to carry,charging.So i am planning to go for dual sim mobiles from Karbon,Micro max,Maxx n few other manufacturers who provide these kind of mobile phones for lower price.But when i had gone through complaint,consumer site i had read lot of complaints regarding these kind of mobiles.suggest me a good model with long lasting battery n price...my dear friend search the forum before starting any new topic...there r lots of threads running regarding this....

the best theme i hv ever found....entirely different from traditional one with fixed dock
it has extra larger icons and that too u can flip with trackball on main screen...just checkout once
curve shuffle with font control theme for 8830 and 8330

i dont know about spice....but if u r talking about karbonn its really better than nokia..
the problem is what we r used to of nokia n so we find it user friendly...its just like windos OS comparing apple or linux...we find windows more user friendly because we hv used it from early......
karbonn has same battery backup with dual sim (i m using kc441) which nokia provide with single sim n thts too gsm....so in this case karbonn has better battery backup...
now if u talk abt specs i dont think i need to tell anything....everyone knows what nokia provides in Rs.4000/ (thts the price of kc441)
now servicing part...its true karbonn service centre r not available everywhere but its the time being thing...gradually it ll b everywhere.
but just think abt nokia service centre.... people hv VERY NICE EXPERIENCE
with nokia... some threads r running abt this just check them..... on the other hand my karbonn went into water n its pcb got faulted...the service centre people changed the whole pcb within 7 days n tht too without asking any paper .....Break the monopoly of these eshtablished brand....

nothing good compared to reliance....
just think this....
2010 sms = 2010 x 1ps = 2010 ps = 20.10 Rs
and in rest 2010 - 20 = 1990 Rs. in which u can call 1990 x 3 = 5970 min. to anywhere and to any network...
on the other hand in tata's plan u can call only 4040min and also restriction of 2010min of local calling on tata network.....

me n my one frend is using karbonn kc441 and we r happy with all the things specially battery backup...
camera is just ok as its a vga camera no idea abt kc750
as kc441 is available in 4500 and kc555 in 5500 so it shud b right price but depends on features.
check spice m-7070(dual sim) 5mp or karbonn k770 3.2mp but they r not cdma...

better u go to any true value shop n ask them bcoz in my case when i asked to cc they told me it can b activated but when i went to store after checking my bb8830 they told it cant b activated as esn is not in their database.....
but dont worry we can activate it here....

if u r talking abt blackberry...as per my experience they dont accept it nowdays.....

go for karbon kc555...it has lots of plus point over kc441
i m using kc441 n i took the demo of kc555...in kc555
-good graphics
-good camera(1.3 mp)
-nice design
-more storage capacity
-more msg storage
-n the most important feature msging...in kc441 the keys r too hard to type even single msg...keys of kc555 are soft.
n karbonn mobiles hv far better battery backup then lg and samsung

hii all,
plz tell me if anyone is using airtel mobile office on sprint bb8830...i never got the setting...still i m using airtel live n paying lot for that.
i hv enough debate wid cc guys..they just hear the name bb and they ll start talking abt BIS plan...
plz help....
