Really nice snaps. Can you tell me the how much it cost you? Am planning to visit Munnar for long. Well guess the time has come

Parin, it's carrier unlocked...so why will I need a turbo sim? It should work with normal SIM...isn't?
-
Dell Streak unlocked version is available in US for $399. Below is the URL
In specifications of 3G, following information is given:
Bands
UMTS 2100 / 1900 / 850 MHz
GSM / EDGE 1900 / 1800 / 900 / 850 MHz
HSDPA / HSUPA:HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSUPA 5.76 Mbps
AFAIK in India, 3G works on 2100Mhz band. So I think it should work with Indian 3G but not sure. Can anyone throw some more light on this? I'm very tempted to buy this tablet

That's awesome phone. Just wondering about price ..

Well, I wasn't using iPhone as the benchmark... I was using NexusOne.
NexusS is supposed to be NexusTwo, and it does not seem to be such a revolutionary device compared with NexusOne.
IMO, It's a step backwards in terms of 1) missing card slot, 2) no support for 3G on at&t, and 3) plastic body.
[No, I haven't handled a NexusS, but I'm assuming it's the same body as GalaxyS... which is not as impressive as NexusOne].
TMobile in US has a HSPA+ network and AT&T obviously has 3G. NexusS will be a disappointment for TMobile users, and deal-breaker for AT&T users.
You're right about keeping fingers crossed about commercial arrival of 3G in India... and then we'll know if NexusS at all works with the technologies and bands used by Indian operators.
No denying that Gingerbread is awesome... but it'll be available on the NexusOne as well. It will be snappier on NexusS because of a newer processor... we'll to to wait and see how much is this performance difference.
I was also hoping for a dual core processor, and a 'retina display' on 'NexusTwo'... but I guess I've taken it too far
- does iphone have one (micro-sd card slot)?
- cheap plastic? have you handled one lately?
- open source in iphone?? or do u need to be stuck with itunes for ur life... lolz
- HSPA+ ?? in India?? who needs it... 3G to aa jaaye pehle yahhan par; its fully compatible with Indian 3G; and next step is LTE (4G); tab ki tab sochenge, as there is no handset for it yet (commercially) in the world, maybe Verizon's cdma iphone... lolz...
No micro-sd card is the only valid point but may not be a deal breaker for many wanting to taste gingerbread and all future updates from Android... I havnt used half of the 16gb micro sd card on my epic... lolz..
and gingerbread is taking apps to another level with special support for only inbuilt memory (read its full details)...
I fully agree with you. I wanted something more from Nexus S...in looks also Nexus One looks better than this...Nexus S looks plasticy... atleast they should have put Dual Core processor...I will prefer HTC over Samsung anyday...

Hehe...however hard I try, I am not able to use more than 50MB..for 1 GB, I think I have to surf 24x7 on Mobile

Saw somewhere written... "Airtel's new logo looks like the result of one night stand between Vodafone and Videocon"
-
This is what written on their website :

Step 2: Once step 1 is done you need to send VMC to 52586 to get the OTA settings on your phone
After the pack is activated the subscriber have to send sms : ACT WWW to 144 to get full internet access on desktop and laptop.
Oops...I missed that...sorry Honest...
However I activated GPRS plan by sending ACT VL to 141...and I'm able to use apn www...don't know...but may be I was lucky
-
If you deactivate the GPRS paln by sending the SMS you won't be able to access data on your phone...you have to again SMS ACT VL to activate data IMHO...
-
No Honest, you don't need to deactivate default plan...I just do a recharge from Vodafone site...while recharging..just select "I want to buy a Bonus Card" and select rs 99/- voucher for 1GB GPRS pack...it should work...

Hi guys,
I am using Vodafone new number series 8806. I am a heavy text user and most of the texting sessions start up after evening(7pm to 11.30pm). I have recently noticed that the SMS delivery has become sloggy in late hours esp. to TATA Docomo. Many times i have to send a message twice to get it delivered. Has anybody else from Maharashtra & Goa circle expereinced this?? Please post your experience. Thanks
Try sending light ones...heavy ones might get stuck up in route between....
Couldn't stop myself from making this joke )

No, you can't make unlimited calls to Smart numbers...
-
Well Reliance 8230 deal is kinda tempting...only thing i don't like about Reliance BB services is that it's price is quite high...compared to Vodafone...if the price was same...I would have gone for it...
-
I had seen in newspaper (TOI) that one first video call was made from Mumbai to Delhi, I think yesterday. Just to test the 3G network of vodafone..
Vodafone and DCM (Tata docomo) are already having 3g networks deployed elsewhere in the world.. so they have the resources, expert know how. So their services will be unmatched.
Ans service charges too...especially Vodafone
-
Yes, it came with default 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 non-IS lens...

Just got Canon EOS 1000D DSLR Camera. I was pissed with my Canon Point and Shoot as it took very bad photos last time I went out with my parents in night. It ruined my mood and I started searching for a good camera. So first I thought of buying a high end Point and Shoot but some people suggested that it's time to move on to DSLR. Initially I was not confident as I heard that DSLRs are pretty hard to operate. However I was wrong, the Auto mode of 1000D lets you use it as a point and shoot. And there are many presets present which you can use according to your need. And if you are advanced photographer, then you can take full control of camera settings using Manual mode. Below is the URL of this cam:

I paid Rs 20800/- for this cam and bought it from ebay. Will get 4Gb Apple iPod Shuffle as a Diwali gift from ebay
Well at last I have to say money well spent

Who uses SD card now a days.
I always seen Kingston release big capacity only SD card, not MINI and MICRO SD. Not sure why.
SD cards are used in Digital Cameras....and for DSLRs...you need hell a lot of storage space if you are shooting in RAW
-
Well I'm hearing form past 3 months that Canon will announce a new model to replace 1000D...and this deferring the purchase...but now I can't control myself...
