just read some reviews abt 7.2.5.0, and they are not good,
poor battery life and some wifi mess. avoiding this update for the time being.

Friends please have some patience. Let them launch the 4G and wait till official info on tarrifs.
Although i feel that existing benefits will be restored soon, but we must wait till they come clear on everything. They cant shut down cdma without clearing all doubts.
My plan is to stay on cdma till last day.

I bought the phone in 27 april sale, while the packet mentions

This is some game from mi.com
As mentioned in above post, first i setup the phone without sim and update it to 7.2.3
Then i insert rcdma sim. It took a while to get signal.
I feel that 3G signals and speed is not upto the mark if I compared with previously used droid Maxx/ htc m8.

People on twitter (some well known media also) going gaga over rcom providing 10 GB 4G data for 100/- which reliance is offering only one time upgrade offer.
They are assuming it as a regular plan.
2min silence for their ignorance.

I know but it took lot of hassle. And I m not a regular seller.
In case Amazon also had refused to cancel the order , selling here was the last option.
In this reference , Amazon has set quite high standard, they humbly accept to cancel an order which was midway.

My story is painful.
Bought note 3 from mi.com on 27 April , but was not shipped till the next sale on 4 may.
I plan to buy from Amazon.in with 1 day delivery, and thought that if order is successfully placed on Amazon , I will cancel the mi.com order.
So on 4 may 2pm, while status on mi.com was showing that phone is still not shipped, order was placed on Amazon with next day delivery. I immediately rush to mi.com to cancel the order. But got a msg:
"Dear customer, your cancellation request didn't go through as the product has been shipped".
What a painful situation! I was then forced to cancel the Amazon order which could have been delivered to me yesterday.
I am still waiting for bluedart to deliver the phone as it is in Delhi rightnow.

I recently used rgsm sim to check whether the network has improved or same as it used to be.
And surprisingly there is lot of improvement in network coverage as well as voice clarity.

mi.com has not yet shipped the phones booked on 27 april sale while amazon users have got delivery, MI protect has very less practical usability.
I will suggest you to go for amazon.in.

As of now band 3 & 40 are enough but band 5 will come in picure later in case of Rcom.

It is helpful for GSM voice. OR it will also help in LTE signals ?

I didnt use any script for amazon. Normal chrome browser was used but it took around 1 min to get phone in cart.
For mi.com, I used mobile website on my phone. It was added to cart immediately.

I can agree for 1-2 months of shut down for cdma but dont think that it will continue for 1 yr.

The link shows that zero plan customers will have data cap of 5GB which is too low. I need to complaint about this. I still have 1 year of subscription left.all queries and answers for upgradation to 4g
Any idea where i can file complaint ?

No evdo in Noida, Delhi circle for last 2 hours.
Looks like 4g is going to start in 1-2 days.
