MMS is out of GTran since last saturday. they r repairing it as a hardware or a software.

Date and time is date and time when I activated my first handset. If anybody has changed handset on same MDN please check whether it gives activation of your first handset or your new handset. this SMS is free of cost.

for camera prefer 7230 over GTran

Can u upload midi files as ringtones in LG 7230. i can do this in GTran by PC sync. if u require camera then LG 7230 is good option. but even 7230 gives stamp size photo which is of no use.

no cdma handsets can be converted to GSM. i did my B.Tech project under Sceintist from CSIO. he hs done that. what he charges a lot to provide circuit diagram. he even showed me LG 2030 working Spice. its better to discuss this toic in Technical section.

i am using rconnect. so i don't have access to webmail. why doesn't reliance provide email like other ISP. or provide access to gmail and rediffmail

i am in chandigarh. can u tell me the faults u r talking abt. the only fault known to me is tht less no of Rworld applications are available. this is a fault in rworld server not in handset. moreover this is a problem with all the handsets of higher range sold by reliance. but pc sync software of gtran always makes gtran the most preffered handset at least for me.

for service centre gtran handset is exchanged with new one if any fault found during warranty. ww provide service. GTran has camera for that you hv to pay 2000 more. it has to be yours pockets decission. LG 7230 is bit costly again a burden on pocket. PC sync of GTran is much better than LG. rworld conditions for both r same except 1 or 2 applications.

I will like to mention here that effective cost of GTran is less than 12001/-. By paying this you get: 1. You get Data Cable worth Rs 2500/-. 2. One extra battery worth Rs 1800/- So cost of 1 handset + 1 Data cable + 2 Battery = 12001 For 1 battery + 1 Handset you pay = 12001 - 2500 - 1800 = 7701 Handsfree and software CD are in both packages. When we compare price we must also consider accessories available. Therefore a standard package of GTran costs 7701. Which is very much comparable with GSM handsets. Because of GTran’s unique features I think it’s even cheaper than the LG 5130. Moreover it has RUIM. Thus till date if you want to go for Reliance and r ready to spend a few bucks then you must opt for GTran.

ICICI banking is not available till date. they have only added the option to get register for ICICI. it's really funny to find that we can register but can't use. only GOD knows when will they provide us MMS.

I tried the online directory but could not get desirable result. As this is a wap site therefore I think we need special software to surf wap it. If someone has this software pls provide me a link to download it.

New LG 5130 is nothing when compared to GTran 4020. It has only an inviting price tag. 1. 5130 does not support PC Sync as Gtran supports. 5130 PC Sync is similar to LG 2030. 2. Speaker phone- out of 1000 calls u will hardly use speaker phone for 1 call. 3. Hindi SMS nobody uses. SCH-N191 has same feature but how times has anyone send Hindi SMS. 4. GTran gives the facility to save SMS in PC, Add ring tones from PC, Better display. 5. GTran is being sold in international markets a camera with good resolution will surely be made available shortly. GTran- Exactly same handset sold in other countries. GTran software upgrade will be available in month or two.

Rworld is best on LG 2030. on color handsets aabove 10K conditions are almost same.

2 months are sufficient to start MMS. users of LG 5130 and camera phones of LG and samsung are less than GTran

GTran GCP-4020 supports voice ring tones. It is evident from the fact that we can use the saved voice in voice memo as ring tone. MIDI file can’t save the voice so there is some format supported by GTran which enables to play voice tones. It’s a problem in Rworld server that they are unable to provide us voice ring tones like many other applications.
