You are lucky.. It's just a loophole that after conversion of your number to smartphone number, you still getting the benefits of 140 /-... But some of the users who have the validity of those evdo packs, still waiting for the conversion of their number to smartphone number although they got the confirmation from MTS few days earlier. They are also unable to get the evdo tower in their handset... In mah and Goa Circle EVDO is working with all 30ps Guys just try and recharge with normal Mblaze Data Voucher like 248 n see if you get EVDO signals, if it works u need not convert ur number to Smartphone number. I guess it should work with normal Mblaze data voucher, and u could retain your old tariff 30 paisa /mb for EVDO.. It means the all@30 paisa tariffs work here. Can anybody confirms that if mts activated smartphone data service on our existing omh ruim's.. Will the existing voice, sms tariffs work? N will the new all@30 paisa pack with denomination of 73 will work? I think it can only be confirmed by Sougata now... Because as per the official email he received fro mts wb nodal, his number was already converted to smartphone number.. So i requested him to check the voice tariffs asap... Can anybody post the smartphone tariff on mts here...? MTS totally cheated with us.. They started activation of hsd on mobile after a long fight, the started cheap packs for EVDO in Kolkata n RoWB , they introduced three different tariffs for same service, i.e mblaze, smartphone (they are really cheap dumbphones.. Isn't it?) n hsd voice data packs.., they gave us cheap unmatched tariff with good service...n now they stopped evdo on our numbers!!! What a service yaar.. MTS confirms that they stopped hsd data on normal omh ruim's.. We can only get evdo on smartphone ruim's.. We are trying to get the way to convert our existing ruim to smartphone number.. Yes.. The worst days of MTS n it's customers like us who r using hsd voice data packs had came.. Most of the users who r activated with evdo data, had lost their evdo activation. . It's really the worst move ever.. As i am one of the few, who was benefited by mts hsd packs. We are really ashamed by this move.. Yes the gsm network is fluctuating a lot.. So if i use it with cdma, can it be solved? Btw Kapil ji, myself n my friend both are noobs in flashing n radio related works.. I have also faced the same problem regarding ev-do but niw i have activated it without paying a single penny! Good news that ur evdo was activated..but can post the process of activation here.. Sent from my P300 using Tapatalk 2 I just did a Mail to the mts customer care WB and data customer care stating them to activate Ev-Do in my number and after 4-6 days they activated Ev-do in my number! Email address: " datasupport.wb@mtsindia.in" so after that i sent another mail regarding the same for another number but they refused to activate so you all can try your luck Which pack activated on ur number? Video calling is just a gimmick.. Atlist in India, a minimum number of people using it although they r on gsm.. No standard gsm operator advertising for video calling n they almost never changed/lowered video calling rates till now... So if any user who can afford 3G connection n 3G handset for gsm video calling will easily afford video calling over VOIP... Its much affordable n available in almost all smartphones.. Yes,i also heared about it.MTS may join hands with Aircel n start operation with gsm sprecturm.But they will also operate with cdma sprectrum.So we may seen a new dual tech operator in India like tata n reliance...but it will be better if mts only stays with cdma sprectrum n they shoud try to get all 4 block of cdma sprectrum in every circle...
