  3. just a note, static ip is not necessary to access your pc from outside u can create free account at dyn.com/dns and add that info to your router or, assign static ip to ur pc (and not dhcp) & do port forwarding+run a dns client in your pc. for now, do port forwarding @router to that ip, and it will work !

  5. Availability of World’s First Android™ ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ Tablet 1GHz, Low-Power Tablet Sets New Market Standard at Sub-$100 Price Point SUNNYVALE, Calif. – December 5, 2011 – MIPS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPS), a leading provider of industry-standard processor architectures and cores for digital home, networking and mobile applications, and Ingenic Semiconductor, a leading China-based CPU provider for mobile multimedia applications, today announced worldwide availability of the world’s first tablet based on Android ™ 4.0, known as ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’, that is retailing for less than $100 (U.S). The tablet is powered by Ingenic’s JZ4770 mobile applications processor, which leverages a MIPS-Based™ XBurst™ CPU running at 1GHz. According to Andy Rubin, senior vice president of mobile at Google, “I’m thrilled to see the entrance of MIPS-Based Android 4.0 tablets into the market. Low cost, high performance tablets are a big win for mobile consumers and a strong illustration of how Android’s openness drives innovation and competition for the benefit of consumers around the world.” The new Android 4.0 tablet is available in China and online through Ainol Electronics Co., Ltd. It will be available in the United States and other geographies within the next several months under brands from companies including Leader International Inc. and OMG Electronics Ltd. The new tablet is available with a 7” capacitive multi-touch screen. 8” and 9” form factors will be available soon. All versions include support for WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.3 and microSD, as well as 3D graphics with the Vivante GC860 GPU, 1080p video decoding and dual front/rear cameras. The XBurst processor’s power-efficient architecture provides extended battery life—the 7” tablet draws less than 400mA during active web browsing. “We are pleased to join with MIPS to announce these breakthrough high-performance, low-power, low-cost Android 4.0 tablets. Combining the elegance of the MIPS architecture and Ingenic’s innovation in processor design, we are bringing a new level of processor technology to mobile devices. As we continue to collaborate with MIPS to broaden the mobile ecosystem around the legendary MIPS architecture, we anticipate even broader proliferation of our devices worldwide. We believe the mobile world will be more versatile and colorful with another processor joining in,” said Qiang Liu, chairman and CEO, Ingenic Semiconductor. 7. Hi, Is there a way to recharge airtel (prepaid) without going to dealer. For example, if I want to take sms pack of 52, can i do it online or through any menu (like tata docomo *141# to deduct from main balance) I find it irritating to go to dealer every month ! wish to do it like docomo does
  8. no offense bro ! i was checking only karnataka. i just came to know (for ur post) that there is an such an option in mumbai ! (and stupid airtel guys --they don't even have same menu options everywhere !) and i did said 'please'
  9. please read what i asked. first one can only be used for to add talk time, not change of tariff of sms,etc second one--doesn't have that option, afaik in karnataka
  10. Is anyone using stv29? I am getting all locals/std at 1p/2sec :Sorprendido: after this recharge (i got this info in 'info message' details call cost) But this recharge voucher is not at their site Anyone else using it? (location @bangalore)
  11. The best of tata docomo is -Excellent customer service (compared to others) -Cheap plans -Fast data Speed And worst part -Coverage what's ur experience?

Android 2.2 Froyo operating system -->Not optimized for tablet !
  15. Call customer care and confirm it. (strangely it is not updated at their site) When I asked for karnataka circle, they confirmed it. (i think it is there in all circle, albeit different STV) ( by the way, i m using it now and pay less than 10/- even if i talk for 30min )
  16. they listened-- Now 69/- STV for 60 days of 1p/2sec plus u can always dail *191# to get last 3 recharge details, in case u forget !
  17. Revised: Now in STV29--it gives 1p/2sec (any network, local/std) for 20 days, instead of 30 days
  18. probably a fake card. try testing actual capacity with this http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml it is possible to show a 1gb card as 32gb or whatever capacity u want. only way to test if it is of true capacity is to try write and read it. beware it takes long time ! run on night and goto sleep
  19. but docomo gives 1p/2sec tariff !! with roaming at 1p/sec. unless u roam alot and have signal isssues, think twice docomo stv41->daily 200 (local/national)sms till dec 2011+ always full talk time stv29-> 1p/2sec --all local/std, any network ! (no one is that cheap, afaik) (i m using these at bangalore+plus the 1000 inr balance gift they gave me with facebook 1 million !!)
  20. yaar, --just remember --there are two type of recharges-simple (all top up)and special (includes data gprs/3g). So, do online or when u goto retailer--say it specifically. that's all !
  21. Mobile Internet on Reliance CDMA

  22. Mobile Internet on Reliance CDMA

why are u multiplying by 300?? it is like this--suppose u use 301MB. Then, for first 300MB - it will cost u 99/- Then, for next 1 MB --it will be charges as 5p/10kb or 5/MB (approx) so total for 301MB will be approx 99+5 =104
