  1. Mobile Internet Rates Slashed, Quota Increased!

Once again, my OM has started working, will have to wait for the bill to know the reality!!!!
  2. New Virgin Top Up

    A weekend for a month????
  3. Mobile Internet Rates Slashed, Quota Increased!

None of the other browsers are working even with the default 50ps/Mb plan... Hope they change things....
  4. Mobile Internet Rates Slashed, Quota Increased!

i think L1 is waste now.. btw when i tried to browse 3rd party site through rworld, i got subscribed to default plan 50p/1MB.. got an sms too.. "Thank you, your mobile internet data plan has been changed as per request.." but still opera mini not working.. [other internet applications are also not working..] Yes, so now onwards, only native browsers will work in all handsets, Has anyone else tried subscribing to the other data plans and checked if OM or any such app is working without any hitches? So now can I de-activate my L1 plan? or should I wait for some more time to get a clearer view?
  5. After Mnp What Is Your Move?

    :Riendo: Very True adage....
  6. Mobile Internet Rates Slashed, Quota Increased!

OM not working here also.... What are the charges for browsing 3rd party websites on RWorld? And if we subscribe to any of the plans, will OM work? I feel it is now high-time to dump RCDMA and move onto RGSM, as there are so many problems with SMS in CDMA and then this L1 plan has been rendered useless, if I am not wrong. And the native browser in Nokia is so yucky, OM is far, far, far superior.... What is to be done with L1 plan now? It is of no use, if I am not wrong? :NOTriste:
  7. After Mnp What Is Your Move?

I will move my 2 Voda and 1 Airtel to RGSM.
  8. AFAIK, Roaming rentals or any other charges for any roaming packs were disallowed by TRAI. Then how is Voda charging for such roaming packs? See here. they have very clearly shown it as roaming bonus pack. All along, RCOM did not introduce roaming packs because TRAI banned roaming packs and rentals. Has the ban been lifted now? So now, with the advent of RCOM's simple plans, all the GSM Gangsters have gone on their backfeet now and started kicking violently. But unfortunately, their kicks do not have any punch in them now.
  9. Mobile Internet Rates Slashed, Quota Increased!

Can anyone let us know the position for Opera Mini users on CDMA as well as GSM under the above new M.I. Plans of RCOM? And what is this "Charges Between Quota"?
  10. Fraud Alert: Ba Lucky - 56263042

Nothing comes free in today's world. Members here should beware....
  11. Imei Verification

my 2 mobiles are all right, no problems here. what is your problem exactly?
  12. All you guys are forgetting that if uninor publicises their tariffs before launch, all their competitors will copy them instantly. Thats why they show age old tariffs on their web site. Wait for their launch, then see their tariffs. Elsewhere on this forum, someone had commented about why RCOM is not advertising their schemes. This is the reason. Plagiarism rules the industry. :Contento: :Riendo:
  13. How People Know About Reliance Offers?

In a way, you are very right, but then from the customers point of view, no or delayed information also is not right. A brilliant case in point is yesterday when the whole world knows of 1ps per SMS scheme, the dumb CC says "no information available with us as yet". This is real idiotic and foolish - their own right hand does not know what the left hand is upto. Surely, RCOM must have adequate brains in their DAKC to use some program to inform customers about new schemes. They are actually wasting the ocean of talent that is available there. These are my opinions, others' opinions may vary....
  14. Automatic Deduction For Style Service

Try the following four IDs. I use them always. corporatecentre.customercare@relianceada.com, serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com, customercare@relianceada.com, contact.chairman'soffice@relianceada.com.
  15. Per month it translates to about 700 minutes free only to Tata DoCoMo mobiles and not to Tata Indicom mobiles, leave alone Tata Walky and Tata Wirelines....And that too, only within Maha & Goa. Good offer for one full year.. But, honestly I feel RCOM's Simple plans are far better and with LP 24/40, you get calls to any RCDMA/RGSM mobiles at 20ps per minute without any Service Tax....
  16. Automatic Deduction For Style Service

, In my case, in my new GSM number, some Mantra Pack Rs 30 per month, got activated. I complained to CC - the nincompoops that they always were, told me that the amount will not be reversed and all along they insisted that I have activated the pack myself. I did not argue further. I sent an email to CMO and within 3 days, I got the de-activation of Mantra Pack and also the amount was reimbursed in full. And a call also from CMO that the above was done on my account and the regrets for such inconvenience. In your case, since the amount is only Rs 10, my request is to follow Ani's advice. But make sure that the pack is de-activated because every ten days you will have the same problem. You may, if you so please, email to CMO also. Try your luck. All the Best.
  17. Telenor Hoardings Seen In Chennai

Haven't seen any till date. where have you seen it?
  18. Iphone Internet Access

I think for the new operators like RGSM, Tata-DoCoMo, Uninor, !dea etc, the GPRS/WAP/MMS settings come automatically when you insert the SIM for the 1st time in your mobile. Nowadays even older cellcos like Airtel, Voda, Aircel etc provide the settings automatically. No idea about BSNL/MTNL.
  19. The MNP codes data compiled by Mr. A K Sharma is really very good and I would request all members here to download the excel workbook from here Special techlive for posting about it here.
  20. Caller Tunes / Reliance Default Caller Tune

Me2 wants the method/details and the charges for the above....
  21. Query About Caller Tunes Charges

The above advanced rentals is for postpaid or for prepaid also? Bad that RCOM has slyly increased the charges..... Anyway its not a big difference (its only Rs 5 per month), so lets not bother much about it.... Only thing is that they should have announced it rather than slyly changing the dynamics of it....
  22. Official Reliance Rom For Blackberry

, All the above posts are adding / quoting the previous post while replying. It only makes the page to load late on one hand and on the other hand, the server/system also will become slow if everyone were to quote the previous post into-to... It would be better if people who post here use the while replying to the immediate post above them. Hope people here take it in the right spirit.
  23. Query About Caller Tunes Charges

Tune renewal for the entire industry is every 90 days and for Rs 15 and which works out to Rs 5 per month. The total cost thus comes to Rs 35 per month (Rs 5 plus Rs 30). So RCOM has done it yet again, silently and slyly increasing it to Rs 10 per month. But with the decrease in rentals for CT at Rs 15 per month, the full deal works out to Rs 25 ( Rs 10 plus Rs 15) per month as against the Rs 35 per month charged by the other operators. But can anyone else confirm if the rental is indeed Rs 15 per month or is it still Rs 30 per month? Seems to be one more bloomer from RCOM.
  24. AFAIK, I think you would have had to purchase this handset from RMW/RW. But then they are not yet selling GSM handsets, then how to use this offer? Send an email to CMO and get the details of this offer and how to activate it. Send the above attachment also to reinforce your case. The CMO's email ID is contact.chairman'soffice@relianceada.com, you can also send cc to corporatecentre.customercare@relianceada.com, serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com, and customercare@relianceada.com... BTW, whats the cost of this OMNIA? And from where you got the above attachment? Since you already have this, why do you need the soft copy? You can scan it and save it.
