  1. So its back to the old days when charges from your BSNL/MTNL landlines were same to all categories of phones - landlines, cells etc. Link Cortesy: - http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1778634.cms

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT HA HA HA HEE HEE HEE Nothing else is possible, right?
  5. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

I was told by the CMO that this phone willcost 16900 and that it will be available only after July 20th. Some numerology factor is associated with July 20 or what? National Roaming charges, increased National SMS sharges and then this Nokia 6265 launch - all scheduled for July 20, 2006. Hee hee hee
  6. Motorola CDMA Razr V3c

No news if it willcome on Reliance as yet. Motorola RazrV3c and Samsung Hero have been launched by TATAbut not Reliance. Both look extremely good in the pictures. Hope Reliance also launches these phones. LG is looking sick nowadays.
  7. All New Samsung Hero Launched On Indicom

Very true, they are bringing out low end models and want to charge high end charges for all services now. Ha Ha Ha Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
  8. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

thats not true! Nokia 6638 for one is a CDMA s 60 phone. dont know if it is still available in the global market or not. Check this http://www.symbian-freak.com/newshistory/05/index7.htm also this phone seems to be s40 3rd edition 6255 was s40 2nd edition. will have to look for the differences between the two and how much reliance has screwed this beauty. But you are right we wont be able to add too many softwares given the limitations of a series 40 phone. Ok found something Series 40 Platform 3rd Edition delivers an advanced mobile experience to consumers and the biggest opportunity to mobile developers. With support for 240 x 320-pixel screens, Series 40 Platform 3rd Edition delivers new APIs that allow developers to create more-appealing applications with higher perceived value. Media developers benefit from providing consumers with an improved viewing experience that will drive consumption of content and media. The platform approach, with its uniform implementation of technologies and supporting tools, documentation, and examples, requires less effort to seize these market opportunities. Now the platform goes even further with the release of the first Series 40 Platform Feature Pack. Series 40 Platform 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1 adds support for Macromedia Flash Lite 1.1 from Adobe as well as Java™ APIs, enhanced messaging, and 2D vector graphics. Nokia 6638 CDMA though boasting of S60 was never launched. Nokia USA website does not mention this model nor any CDMA models. Nokia USA website returned an error while searching for 6638 and instead pointed to an outdated 638 phone instead of 6638. Further till today, there are no S60 or Symbian phones for CDMA. Although Qualcomm and Symbian had collaborated as far back as 2000, no CDMA symbian phones are as yet available. If anyone has information to the contrary reg Symbian CDMA phones, please post here. I may still be wrong. Till then, Enjooooooooooooooooooooy.
  9. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

It cannot support symbian softwares as it is not Series S60 ,it is merely Nokia series s40.As far as i know. I really doubt reliance will introduce ne symbian (flexible) phone ever. Series 60 handsets are not made by any mobile phone manufacturer for CDMA. Even in GSM, it is available mainly with Nokia and also some other company. So Reliance has no hand in this. This is also one of the reasons to switch over to GSM, because S60 handsets are available only for GSM and not for CDMA. Correct me if I am wrong. @vmsanghrajka, It is not possible to load S60 applications (Symbian) on a S40 phone. So dont have any high hopes. Anyway please check and advise, I may be wrong in my understanding. Cheeeeeeeeeeeers.
  10. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

So finally 6265 has been launched. The people who are getting this phone today, please post here about the features available and also features blocked by our great Reliance Comm. Also, a discussion on the pricing and features is now due.
  11. Problem In Fwp Upgrade Under 800 Option

Escalate your entire case with CMO and you will get the proper response. No one else will give you proper reply, leave alone resolutions. So, escalate your case with complete details to CMO.
  12. @gids, Thanks, I will check with Hutch, Chennai and post later.
  13. Lg Charging For Software Upgrade !

So, LG also has tied up finally with Reliance and has started withdrawing facilities one-by-one. So they also want to increase their ARPU now.
  14. Looks like it is high time to quit Reliance and shift to GSM of Airtel or Hutch or even BSNL. Only problem I have is that I have 6 Rel. connections and no other operator is giving Free Onnet calling packs. So what to do? I am frustrated by the lack of proper response even from CMO eg. handsets like 6265 etc and also withdrawal of facilities one by one. Hope some one drills some good sense into ADA.
  15. What the Times Article says is that GSM spectrum will be given to Reliance as and when it starts vacating the CDMA spectrum. Hence this is what AA wanted anyway. Only thing is that both GSM and CDMA will not be available simultaneously to Reliance. So Mum and Del Reliance folks can get GSM connections maybe in six months or even earlier. However, the voice clarity may not be as clear and call charges may also be higher than CDMA in the initial phase. Maybe when Reliance moves all its custoemrs from CDMA to GSM, they will be able to offer competitive and economic call rates. Anyway, lets wait and watch.
  16. Fwp Master Lock Code

It works on my 350R even after two sw upgrades from Rel02 to Rel03 and then to Rel04. Further, LGSC has changed my main board also two times and even now, 6278 works. I have checked it out not once, but thrice today. So, Please check your unit properly.
  17. Please Help - Facing Problem In Fwp

Looks very difficult indeed, ask around if any old handset is available at the LGSC and then ask them to swap it. But from the way you have explained your predicament, I still feel a detailed email to the CMO with full details of your problems only will elicit a fairly good result. Try your luck, buddy. Pray to all gods around. Hope for the best.
  18. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

So folks, stop dreaming about Nokia 6265 anymore, it will not see the light of the day.
  19. Please Help - Facing Problem In Fwp

I think you will have to buy anew handset as there is no exchange policy for damaged h/s from Reliance. For a better response, please send a detailed email to CMO, you will get faster, clearer and surer response from there. Dont ever try talking to CC - they are useless. All the best.
  20. Latest s/w versions Of Lg Phones

Hi Hyd_ladka, After a long time, you have provided the new SW updates info. Nice job, man keep it up. Coming to 6230, what is new in Ver 18? What about LSP 350R - no changes??? Expecting your replies soon. Thanks in Advance.
  21. Problem In Sending E.mail Though Sancharnet

AFAIK, if Reliance provides you with a SMTP server address, you can send emails from OE. Ask CC or better CMO for more details. I have a Hathway account and they have provided the POP3 and SMTP server addresses. After entrering the SMTP server addresses for my various email accounts with VSNL, HW, yahoo, gmail, etc, my o/g emails are going in a flash. So check with Reliance on the SMTP server address. Hope the above helps you.

  23. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Just forget the handset- it will mostly never ever see the light of the day. Both Nokia and Reliance are not interested in selling this product at all going by their respective responses (as seen in this post earlier) So folks, please forget this model and carry on with your lives.
  24. Lg Charging For Software Upgrade !

As far as I know, there is no charges for software upgrades by LG SCs. If your SC is demanding such charges please complain to CMO and also to helpline@lgmobiles.com. Nowadays, LG is responding faster. I have personally seen a poster in a LGSC stating no charges for SW upgrades for any models at all whether in warranty or out of warranty. Did you pick up any fight with these people at any time for them to do this to you????
  25. Dot Proposes To Slash License Fee

All operators will definitely reduce their charges, but our great (higher) Reliance and AA will definitely sleep over the changes for almost three months or more and then wake up and implement it. So stop enjoying if the above comes true.
