of course..a couple of years back when they first introduced the evdo service i asked bsnl for a demo.the speed at that time was pathetic. it didn't even touch 20kbps. (yes kilo bits per sec and not kilo bytes). i shall once again ask for a demo before buying it.

Aircel brought out new plans a few days back. Now air hell has reduced rates. Waiting now for Vodafone to follow suit.

Have you guys heard of a seller named Cart2india online on Ebay? If you require any good to be purchased from any American website, all you need to do is mail them the link of the product you wish to purchase and ask for the approximate price it will cost to import it including duty etc etc.they will respond quickly & if you give them the go ahead they shall list the product for you exclusively on Ebay where you can pay money through the usual means & get the item delivered.

It's all well and good that they have come up with these regulations.but like so many things in our country, will it be strictly implemented? Trai is already in the pocket of the telecom companies.I mean we must be the only country which still classifies 256kbps as broadband.it's very good for the viewers if these regulations are implemented but that remains to be seen

these plans are just amazing. delhi and bombay are lucky that they have MTNL. they get unlimited broadband at cheap rates and now 3g services also. compared to mtnl bsnl is utterly useless. why is bsnl not introducing plans like these even though both are govt companies?

as far the gsm operators are concerned aircel seems to offer the best VFM for 3g recharges. rs 697 for 5gb and 128 kbps thereafter is awesome when compared to people like vodafone who charge rs 850 for 3gb

this is actually quite ludicrous from airtel.when i click on the smartbytes ad in their website,it takes me to a page where is asks for a mobile number and to type a verification code.in the next step,a verification code is sent to the mobile & we are asked to enter that. but when i entered it,its saying that " sorry,the transaction could not be processed because the mobile number entered is inactive/invalid" . i mean even to have a look at the tariffs we have to jump through all sorts of hoops. its quite ridiculous
