For those who may ber wonderring about the icons and launcher well i have installed NOVA LAUNCHER and activated KITKAT icons set inside it also i like full screen NON scrolling wallpapers so i have disabled scrolling of wallpapers and while selecting an image to set as a wallpaper i select the portrait mode only so the full resolution is justified for the image and it fills the full screen without any crop

First of all FLASH the CWM TOUCH recovery that i have added , its ABSOLUTELY important as CM Roms cant be flashed properly with TWRP 5.. Once the flash of recovery finishes , go to reboot option in main menu and hit reboot in recovery This will reboot phone straight into CWM touch recovery 6.. wipe , cache , wipe dalvik, and then wip data or factory reset while in CWM Touch recovery 7.. flash the ROM first ( use the flash zip from sd card or external sd card option ) 8.. after that flash the GAPPS file. REBOOT THE PHONE AND LET IT BOOT COMPLETELY , CHK EVERYTHING IF ALL IS WORKING WELL 9.. If you want to convert your messaging app into darker black shade then reboot into recovery and flash the dark messaging zip file. enjoy !! IF YOU ARENT HAPPY or may be want to get back to your backup the follow these steps 1.. Reboot into CWM recovery , and make a backup ( if in future you may feel like moving back to your CM backup - but plz mind you should be on CWM recovery to restore CWM recovery nandroid backups ) 2.. stay on the recovery and find the TWRP recovery zip and flash it OR reboot phone in download mode and flash the ODIN Tar of TWRP recovery and reboot in recovery 3.. once done reboot again in recovery and this will boot phone in TWRP recovery 4.. restore your previous ROMs backup using your latest TWRP Have Fun , Dont foregt to Hit Thanks Plz note : flashing , rooting might brick your phone so We are not responssible if your phone is rendered as a heavy weight paperweight or it explodes in your face.

Hey all Just wanted to share my experience with you all. Since past 1 week I have been using pure vanilla, I mean CYanogen mod most stable version, and it's really so awesome, battery consumption is so low and its smooth as hell. Dear Hitesh; But How we can degrade can you elaborate the procedure. Thanks; i guess you meant downgrade ??? downgrading as of now isnt possible . people should beware of taking the OTA on any imported phones, i have been saying this since long , not to get OTA however safe it may seem for any imported phone , no matter whichever make or android version. if it aint broke dont OTA update it

You need to get evdo transferred Get it de activated now and after 24 hrs give request for reactivation All will be well. This is a well known issue, so the way around is give request for evdo deactivation and then re activation. Sent from my SCH-R950 using Tapatalk 2

If you people are on direct ota then battery is problematic , if you flash the zip and then debloat then you will have great battery after a few power cycles . I will add a super debloater zip too which removes a lot of crap Sent from my SCH-R950 using Tapatalk 2

As you took the full ota so you won't face it , but the problem is there if you do like me without updating the bootloader Not that big a issue but due to knox security Americans have to update without updating the bootloader as rooting the ota mk3 will break knox and will void warranty , I have seen there is a fix for that if run immediately after root. Hey all , i have been trying to upload approximately 1.2GB of the latest software for USSC note 2 , from past 2 hours , uploads are failing at MEDIAFIRE. I wanted to provider full rooted deodexed debloated rom , with proper wifi fix uploaded to MEDIAFIRE will post links in the morning , that one folder will have all the required files , be it latest su , latest cwm , latest TWRP and stuff EDIT : How to Install latest 4.3 deodexed MK3 ROM on USSC Note II NO Radio update - as i found ME2 gives better speeds than MK3 How to debloat it How to fix broken WIFI How to Fix Root Please note taking the OTA is not gonna pose any problems to us but to US users its a huge thing as upon rooting the OTA due to KNOX they will lose their warranty the real culprit is the new bootloader , 4.3 also updates the bootloader the below mentioned process wont update the BOOTLODER at all hence its safer and will be ultimately useful to run other scripts , and stuff later on the links below after unraring will give you a folder called MK3 , which are 3 files + 1 Folder ( this again has 3 files inside ) PUTLOCKER and ZIPPYSHARE Links - all 200Mb split the folder has following content - 1 ...Latest 4.3 MK3 deodexed rooted rom - t0lteusc_signed_112713_222434.zip 2....Latest debloater script - MK3-MEG-DEBLOATER.zip 3....Devil kernel - Devil2-1.5.0-t0lte-DUAL-20131124_2.zip 4....A folder named - if you lose root then this folder conatins A...latest SU - UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip B...Latest CWM Touch recovery - recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.5-r950.zip C...Latest TWRP Recovery - openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.1-t0lteusc.zip INSTALLATION Of 4.3 MK3 Rom for USSC Note II SCH-R950: put the top 3 files ( rom , debloater script and devil kernel ) in phone memory 1.. reboot into recovery 2.. make a backup 3.. wipe cache , dalvik, do factory reset and wipe system 4.. flash ROM zip 5.. once completed , flash Debloater zip 6.. MOST important - BOOT the phone now People who have taken the OTA and want to uase debloated setup then they should just root their stock and boot in recovery and flash the debloater zip. or if they want decodexed debloated rom ( which is a big help if you want to add mods later then ) they should flash the rom and then debloater zip only . 7.. set your phone up , add your accounts and set up various settings and all 8.. reboot into recovery 9.. flash the Devil kernel now - the kernel needs to be changed as with the stock kernel wifi doesnt work , but with devil everything works like a charm 10.. reboot phone , download titanium backup and remove more apps - please mind that the Rom doesnt have Gmail so you ll need to download latest gmail from play store There are chances that you may lose root access after one of two reboots , so if that happens do the following to REGAIN ROOT ACCESS Put the three files that are found inside the *if you lose root then* folder inside your SD card or phone memory they are latest CWM , latest TWRP and latest SU 1... reboot into recovery ( i am considering you are on TWRP ) 2.. flash the CWM Touch recovery and in the reboot option hit Reboot recovery 3.. you will straightaway reboot into CWM Touch recovery now 4.. flash the SU file as zip 5... flash the TWRP recovery to get your TWRP back and thats it now you have done it all - if it bricks your phone then i am in no way responsible , you did it to urself Big shoutout to greatest guy in NA7Q at Team us cellular forums - i have merely accumulated his stuff and uploaded to different hosts for your guyz's convenience

yupp, though i didnt take the OTA , i manually upgraded just the rom , debloated it , kept the baseband at ME2 and kept the root too ( though had to reflash su via CWM and then reverted to TWRP ) great great great improvemnt 4.3 is CS if you need some input please drop me a pm. regards
