I have been noticing since last few months, they are closing up their web world centres in Ahmedabad. specifying three of them.
One at CG road is being closed.Another one near paldi, at span trade centre is closed.Third one at bapunagar is closed down.
Also at few of the collection centres shopes for drop box facility is removed as well.

Yes thankyou parinbhai, got these details as well and got the pack activated where my cousins desire700 got 3 months unlimited data and on my 816 i got 6 months unlimited data pack.

Guys if anyone purchased any HTC handsets recently from Reliance, there is a scheme for unlimited 3g data for 3 months on that purchase.
it can get activated through an sms on 55444 with some details tobe punched and within 48 hrs it gets activated.

I tried. It accepted same password that I have set for screen unlock.
Thankyou worked.Though i use pattern type screen unlock but had used once the password for it and used the same and it worked.

Guys, there is an option to move your messages in your sms box to secure box, which i thought would be like lock the message so we dont delete it.
But when accessing the secure messages it asks for password which i never stored before and defaul ones i have no idea.
Any inputs for this.

I agree with aalokbhai, as i posted after what i was told by the CC executives for 816 that if with cdma/gsm it would be active else dual standby and its dual standby in any mode.
So better you confirm before you do the purchase from them about the status of dual sims as active or standby.

Guys whats the best file manager to use,htc decided not to give a simple file manager out of the box. Samsung was easy with this and also to switch files between handset memory and sd card memory.
Which is the best app for this?

alokbhai, are you able to download apps directly on your sd card as i have heard on 816 you are not able to directly on your sd card but on the phone memory and with kitkat security one cannot transfer all the apps on SD card. Can you confirm this.

Yesterday again there was not network in my factory area for my reliance cdma, not even in my premises as well as in the whole city was hardly getting one or max two bars at some places.
And this is very frequent these days where no network for reliance.

LG G3 to land at Verizon on July 17 after a week of pre-orders
The LG G3 will apparently become available at Verizon on July 17, following quite a long wait after itsofficial unveiling in late May.
The release date has surfaced thanks to a leaked screenshot purportedly showing an internal message from Verizon's systems.
The smartphone is expected to go up for pre-order on July 10, exactly one week before it officially becomes available.
There's no word right now about when other carriers might get the smartphone, as this is the first launch-related bit of info for the LG G3 in the US. However, the handset will eventually be offered by all of the 'big four' - so expect to see it at AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint too.
The LG G3 is the first device from a well known manufacturer to sport a touchscreen with 2560x1440 resolution, and this will probably prove to be its main selling point (at least for spec fanatics).

Network also seems crumbling, with no network towers or one two hardly, calls takes ages to connect and sms faliure constantly since last 4 days.

Its is dual gsm or cdma gsm but only on cdma gsm dual sim you get both the sims active else on gsm gsm you get dual stand by and not active.

yes both are sorry my mistake to be more clear only grey was available with the dealer here in ahmedabad i know and his shipment came with only one colour as of now, grey.

AFAIK HTC 816 is not officially launched in India. As per info given by HTC dealer in Ahmedabad it is yet to be launched and most probably it will be launched with Indian 4G (Band 40) support. If it do not support 4G then now it is useless buy. I am sure by the end of this year we will get 4G.
One sold on flipkart is said to be imported one.
Sir i got a call from dealer near by my factory and its officially launched here in ahmedabad with retail selling price of 23500/- with mrp of 23999/-.

Since yesterday the screen went white, can see the background but its all hazzy with too much white screen.I can read and write on sms, wattsapp but pictures not able to see.
Tried resetting, restart but nothing is working.What could be wrong, it was fine till yesterday evening and phone was in my pocket till i reached home and then it went all white screen.
Is it some software issue or screen seems damaged?
