    Last week, I bought HTC one dual sim 802D.

    In low light conditions, the photos are having a pink shade/tint. Is this a hardware problem or software problem?

    I am on Andorid 4.2.2, stock, not rooted.

    How to re produce the issue

    "To see if your phone is affected, place the camera down on a table and see if the screen goes black, or clouds over with a purple or reddish tint."

    Any one else has this issue?

    HTC has 15 day replacement warranty, so I need to be quick if its a hardware problem.

    If its a software problem, any information about this?

    I think this is hardware issue... Faced the same problem... Bought Htc one single Sim... Google about it... Then came to know its a common problem many people faced it.. And they got replacement... My bad luck I had purchased it without bill so could not claim warranty...

    you need special moded reliance sim for that...

    No you dont, on G2 every reliance OMH sim is "Special"

    Yup.. I too am using normal Tata omh sim card without any mods and it is working completely fine..

    i tried tata which worked for voice calls and sms... was not able to try data... but tried about 2-3 normal sims (RELIANCE) data didnt worked untill used moded sim... good people sharing all experiance... but wondering why such difference... only senior members can put a light on this...

    Can g2 work with omh card

    I personally have not tried it, but many have confirmed RUIM to work, some have claimed data does not work on Sprint.

    tried and tested works like a charm in nv mode... and for sim card need special moded sim for reliance... tested with the reliance modded sim also working perfectly as it should...

    My gs3 r530u -4.1.2 MD4

    problem was phone data show 1x

    But i changed it to NV mode ( 3times till accept change )

    So 3G works well now. Feeling better

    .......

    Now just only the problem is : cant answer International calls ,

    I flashed ( mb1, Lk1 modems) but nothing changed.

    Should i downgrade to ics ?

    What if i update to the latest (during nv mode)?

    A very simple method that I did to solve international call answering...

    Go to call settings then call answering and call ending... Enable answer call with home key... And use the home key to answer international calls... Your problem will be solved...

    Ok I got brave and decided what the heck? I tried this and it worked!

    well heres the solution i got from xda developers..... well to exit the factory mode

    1. ud have to install a terminal emulator from google market

    2. Type su

    3. Then enter the following after the #

    echo -n ON > /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode

    (yes ON is the correct setting to turn it off)

    Then I had to reboot for the change to take effect. FYI, I had to go through initial setup after the reboot.

    walaa there it was phone out of facroty mode with all its features woring

    Sorry just confirming... Ask features working means you got data working with this prices after the 4.3 update???

    Guys....Can you please tell me if I can set the device to RUIM only mode using any free software or is purchasing CDMA WorkShop / DFS absolutely necessary ?

    Atleast are there any cheaper alternatives ? DFS costs more than the phone itself at $600, CDMA WorkShop - $100...

    Try using cdma workshop 2.7... It should do it... Haven't tried it as I'm using paid version... But it should definitely work...

    Just confirming [my observations] the capabilities for mango people woh dont have the Developer / Sprint Employee version of the phone..

    - GSM does not work out of the box on the phone, root and system tweaks are required as mentioned by Vinod Nayak in a separate thread.

    - RUIM only works for call / text, data does not work even after doing changes as advised by OP.

    i confirm data works on reliance cdma omh... all you need to do is make the handset ruim only through dfs...

    pls post any other options..

    buddy it works 100% even i had problems initially... all i did was restored its NVDATA using adb and then tried and it worked... you know how to use adb? if not i can help (dont do aything if you dont know what are you doing... it may brick your device)

    same as samsung s3 r530 us cellular nvrestore command
