    just an option / knowledge... you can go for Samsung i-9003 or samsung i-589 (CDMA + GSM) battery.... which fits and works perfectly on samsung epic touch (S2 cdma) its easily available at local samsung service centre... with bill and 6 months gurantee... the only difference is epic battery that comes from US is 1800 mAh. and this is 1650 mAh...

    Any idea about the price??

    should get it about 600/- bucks...

    i don't think this is a good idea... forum is to help out people sharing your experience or helping one another... we don't want to convert this forum to an e-shop... as far as someone's budget is concerned one can always contact the seller with through pm...

    mostly it is hardware !

    first step will be battery after that cant say !

    well to make my decision easy, screen started to have a thin black line on the top so i am gonna return the product.

    can you please tell me how to unregister my number from that phone and again get back that number on sim ?

    simply visit the reliance web world... give your number and ask them to activate it on a sim... you'll need a blank sim which u can buy from them only... official charge for the sim is Rs. 25... you may also be asked for a photo id and address proof...

    i have bought htc evo 4g lte -4 days back.

    its working fine , cdma1x and evdo everything working properly.

    its having android 4.1 and htc sense 4+

    but battery life s**ks.

    battery is really draining.

    i have brightness to minimum .
    sync is off , no facebook app, no games still battery really draining badly..30 % gone in 40 minutes ..i was just using whatsapp app and wifi..and through advance task killer i am killing all app running regularly..
    'done all stuffs mentioned in above link..there is some real issue with battery.please guide !

    i don't know if this can be am issue... but with my experience or say communication with the people who using EVO LTE they keep the network mode to LTE / CDMA... instead of only CDMA... the LTE mode drains battery like a big pipeline leakage on this mode... internet works on this mode as well... it shows 3G on top but actual works 1x... just check if your network mode is set on CDMA only...

    go to settings > mobile data > network mode> select CDMA ONLY...

    hi friends,

                     i just bought samsung galaxy note2 this week. when i record videos for 10-15 minutes, my phone gets heat up only on upper part of phone. also get warm when surf for 15 minutes at that top part only.

                     is there any solution for this as i read in google  that many people are facing same top part heating issue. i uninstalled all applications but no result.

     

    anyone if have any solution?

                     

     

    Some phones do get heated while surfing on 3g network... But as you said it even heats up when video recording... I would suggest you show it to the nearest service centre... Try to rec without 3g data network... See how it reacts...

    Friends- I m not able to access media when i connect my usc n2 with my laptop. Usb degugging is ticked. Probably I had changed the diag settings to root the phone issuing tool kit by reinstalling the drivers & from then I m not able to connect by handset as a media drive

    Pls guide

    Are divers installed properly???

    Check if u have disabled the diag mode... you need to activate the hidden menu first...

    Dial *#22745927#... it givws you option for hidden menu...

    Then dial *# 7284# go to Qualcomm settings... and select the very first option... MTP... it's done...

    was just curious who / how friendships day started... here is the history...



    Friendship Day was originally promoted by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark cards in 1930, intended to be 2 August and a day when people celebrated their friendships by sending cards. The second of August was chosen as the centre of the largest lull between holiday celebrations. Friendship Day was promoted by the greeting card National Association during the 1920s but met with consumer resistance - given that it was her too obviously a commercial gimmick to promote greetings cards. By the 1940s the number of Friendship Day cards available in the US had dwindled and the holiday largely died out there. There is no evidence to date for its uptake in Europe; however, it has been kept alive and revitalised in Asia, where several countries have adopted it.


    In honor of Friendship Day in 1998, Nane Annan, wife of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, named Winnie the Pooh as the world's Ambassador of Friendship at the United Nations. The event was co-sponsored by the U.N. Department of Public Information and Disney Enterprises, and was co-hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford.


    Some friends acknowledge each other with exchanges of gifts and cards on this day. Friendship bands are very popular in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and parts of South America. With the advent of social networking sites, Friendship Day is also being celebrated online. The commercialization of the Friendship Day celebrations has led to some dismissing it as a "marketing gimmick". But nowadays it is celebrated on the first Sunday of August rather than 30 July. However, on 27 July 2011 the 65th Session of the United Nations General Assembly declared 30 July as "International Day of Friendship".


    The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed on 20 July 1958 by Dr. Artemio Bracho during a dinner with friends in Puerto Pinasco, a town on the River Paraguay about 200 miles north of Asuncion, Paraguay.


    Out of this humble meeting of friends, the World Friendship Crusade was born. The World Friendship Crusade is a foundation that promotes friendship and fellowship among all human beings, regardless of race, colour or religion. Since then, 30 July has been faithfully celebrated as Friendship Day in Paraguay every year and has also been adopted by several other countries.


    The World Friendship Crusade has lobbied the United Nations for many years to recognize 30 July as World Friendship Day and finally on 20 May, General Assembly of the United Nations decided to designate 30 July as the International Day of Friendship; and to invite all Member States to observe the International Day of Friendship in accordance with the culture and customs of their local, national and regional communities, including through education and public awareness-raising activities.

    Hi, there are some offline maps available those you need to install in your device before using for example... "SYGIC" you don't need internet connection it uses the offline maps that we have to download before using... it simply connects your GPS and works on offline maps... but these applications do need a good configuration device for example if i remember properly... India map requires about 700 MB of space... and minimum GHz processor and 1 GB ram... try... all the best...

    Unfortunately play store has stopped

    You'll need to rest your device completely... A complete wipe out... Back up your contacts etc and then go to setting, back up & reset, and rest...

    Dell avaliable at about 31,500/- in mumbai but with DOS. Even with Windows, I think it will cost about 35,000/-,but not sure.

    I bought this model with unbuntu os... 2 days ago for 30600/- model number 3521... Also same model available with license windows 8 and an additional 1gb on board graphics card for 36000/-

    I assumed the reason I have no outgoing or incoming is because the network says 'Sprint'. The Reliance Customer care said that on their systems my connection shows up as active and they have no idea why it isn't working. Anyways, I"ll revert to the stock firmware and update you guys on this tomorrow.

    No buddy it has nothing to do with the network name... You can customize the name as per your choice... Its something else...
