Only LG TRIBUTE 2 works out of box, you need to block HFA app.

LG TRIBUTE first generation needs programming. There is an excellent thread in this for fod LG TRIBUTE programming, follow that.

i am sorry. LG Tribute-2 only works out of box voice, sms and data. only things you need to tackle is wifi tethering (can do with activation on website or edit build prop) HFA activation. ( can get rid off by by renaming apk on temporary root).
Tribute old model needs programming.

What issue?it is cdma and to my knowledge there is problem with reliance voice. but works with docomo.
I have had no issue with reliance Cdma prepaid /postpaid RUIM in volt in voice and sms.
Have had no issues even in Tata and Mts

Thank you atishj. The issue is now resolved. However, I didn't had to rename the htcsetupwizard.apk file. From TWRP, in Wipe, I did advanced wipe and wiped everything, then installed the ROM. No hands free activation after that. Hope this helps somebody.
Which Rom you have Flashed, Wifi hotspot working ??

Dont Delete htcsetupwizard.apk and .odex files
1. Start with Original htcsetupwizard.apk
2.You will stuck on HTC/Handsfree avtivation Screen
3.Roboot in TWRP rename htcsetupwizard.apk to htcsetupwizard.bak
4.Start mobile if all things goes ok
5.Agin Boot in TWRP rename htcsetupwizard.bak to htcsetupwizard.apk

Every Time when you restart mobile Goto Appmanager from setting then go to "ALL" then disable MOTOOTA app in case of boost, dont known about verizon,
if you are routed than that app can also uninstall

I can get as far as Step 5 rooting. When I use SIM Unlock helper, I never get "Device Verified" or any menu where I can choose sim lock. I'm so bummed. I've been trying to get this to work for days. I just want to use this GD Sprint prepaid phone on Ting prepaid service! Looks like I am hosed... unless anyone else has answers?
If you retrying second or more time than let HTCOMADM_SPCS.apk and HTCOMADM_SPCS.odex back to there original state and delete modified HTCOMADM_SPCS.apk which is manually kept by you @ /system/app than start from STEP 3: Flash write protection removed kernel
