Comparision of NTT DOCOMO with reliance or reliance thinking NTT DOCOMO way and implemanting NTT DOCOMO way is injustice to NTT DOCOMO. There can not be comparision between creator and immetators. If they talk about DOCOMO way than charging 10paise per KB is stupid. Also one need EVDO handset to enjoy always ON nternet. Globally people do not charge for dormancy, in India reliance and tata both charge for dormancy. With classics one can not be NTT DOCOMO. It must not be samsung black jack, lookalike MOTO Q

No case one can compare gSM phones with any other phones. Also symbian is excelent OS and blackberry protocol is now supported by most OS. So why spend on blackberries. Ramchi rightly said, because it is manufactured in North America they are expensive. Why should we pay for their inefficiencies?

Perhaps I always have belived that Blackberries are just example of good marketing. Symbian despite being 70% of population it is less rocognized brand and solution. There are perhaps only fraction of executives who can not wait for mails for 10 minuts too. Also there is no guarantee that push mail server will receive mails immediately.

There is very less upfront payment with ccavenue and they are good service providers. It depends on payment you want to accept, means from India alone or international? If India alone then ccavenue is best. I will caution you for legal implecations. Because you are from India you can not charge US $ to indian customers and if you have account with ccavenue world gateway or any other service providers who pay you in USD means your customer could be in problem some times. There are more possibility of this because in IT return now one has to give many details including CC statements. Legaly we indian are not allowed to pay in USD or foreign curreny unless we travel. Even online payments has some restrictions. BEtter check before proceed. Being Indian you can always charge any one in the world INR. No need to bill and accept payment in US $ CC avenue charges are perhaps most reasonable. Edited because I saw directpay charges

Unlocking CDMA is really waste of time and using data on GSM is waste of time. Its difficult to choose.

I ensure that probably you will not miss rworld because u get full fledged browsing. There are endless possibilities to use PPC for productivity it depends how you want to go for it. What is the purpose. If you want to use for fun stuffs like downloadable ring tones, wall papers etc, then PPC is not right phone for you. If you want to go for multimedia, emails and browsing with limited MS office support then go for it. Remember you will get lesser battery life than phone. Screen visibility will be lower in bright light. Will not get radio. I can write book but not intend to bore you. I can say that 6700 and Palm devices can be used on reliance without any problem. But NO WAY RWORLD On any device

19.5k? Double check, coz I think its 39.5K. If 19.5K I will seriously interested in this one. Coz HTC touch is 19K though it is far inferior than this.

THough phone is3G, using 3G in GSM is yet distant dream, atleast till 3G policy is declared. Even after 3G policy I doubt how many operators will be interested in deploying 3G on GSM quickly? If you see how many percentage of GSM phones are 3G? Very few.

Why dont you use PC sync method? why do you have to rely on reliance serviers? when you can do with your desktop?

I feel its quite expensive, its better to create consortium of members, buy web space with push mail support. Or buy modem with 650 1 GB plan, have modem cloned to PDA, and check mail every 10 minutes. This way you can use it as modem too in just 650 bucks a month.

MMS received is mot downloaded to your phone automatically, it is link you receive. If sent MMS notificcation do not reach to you means system is not sending MMS to you because your phone ESN may be known to be MMS incompatible / system due to its own problems discarding it. When I was using nokia 6155 no MMS were ever delivered. I never bothered because I do not use it, was just testing.

For SMS and Voice why not to choose cheap basic handsets? CDMA people are looting world over. This is now I firmly believe. Locked / cracked handsets can not be used for WAP browsing, MMS etc. CDMA networks are secured and settings are now as simple as GSM

Reliance also provide vehicle tracking services. They have JV with Ashok Leyland. EVDO is still a dream till Reliance deploy and DOT finalizes 3G policy. My dear Friend Reliance me kuch bhee ho sakta hai. Anyway my 2112 has a life of 2.5 days.I examined carefully BL5C of 2112 It is thinner and light compared to BL 6C of 2865 so it should stay longer??? My conclusion Chienese sets are disposable CDMA LG is toying with CDMA Nokia ie experimenting with CDMA World over even service providers are experimenting with CDMA. CDMA death is fixed once GSM introduces WCDMA and china starts deploying TD-SCDMA. Ofcourse battery life in GSM will be then as low as CDMA perhaps even lower.
