  1. what ever reliance is going to be in GSM and they will be operating like china unicom. No forces can really stop them from getting in to GSM.
  2. Making Ppc6700 Ruim Based

    Good info
  3. Reliance as network and operator, very good network, good pricing and am thankful to them for bringing affordable mobile revolution in India. GSM as technology because its wide spread. I have tough time when I have to roam internationally. Bag for handset, then Transfer your contacts to GSM handset, go to reliance for SIM card or caontact them to know status of their SIM etc. Also GSM has excellent handsets. Now GSM is catching up in data too.
  4. I belive Portability will be introduced only after reliance gets nod to start its GSM operations.
  5. I have been waiting for this since year. Once so, I will switch to GSM.

  8. I Want Rsn Of Phones

sir this is not the full form of RSN.its something differetn..it slipped out of my mind..will reply with right full form...if i cud remember,, Why dont yuo change the ESN of PPC6700..You only gave all of us the Tutorial to change the ESN of PPC6700.You will get the RSN also.. Thats the reason why I said perhaps
  9. ya BSNL is among the worst in broadband wait list my cousin got the BSNL broadband connection in March 2007 and he had registered for it on September 2006.. Tata indicom i got the connection within working 3 days after i registered for it .. no bsnl is not worst, bcoz its best there is waiting.
  10. New Nokia 6275 @ 9,750

Reliance was cheaper in past, not now, call charges are at par with GSM operators and in GSM u get sooooo many handset with exact features you want. and if you can change number and data requirement is little or nil, then you should go for gsm only.
  11. The Nokia 6265 Reviewed

Only PRI wont help. PRI is just operator and certain system related settings. You can download PRI of any other nokia handset, compare with your 3125 and edit where ever necessary.
  12. I found fire fox better than any other browser. In times of IE3 and IE4, netscape was best. Safari has lot to do to compare with firefox. I used only for 4 days and removed safari from my computer.
  13. BSNL has same stories every where, in Ahmedabad its about 3 months and people wait because its best, far better than TATA and better than Reliance.
  14. I Want Rsn Of Phones

No youcan not get RSN. RSN is reliance's own identification system. Its non standard, however RSN is attached to ESN. BTW is this your own question? Perhaps RSN means "®ELIANCE (S)ERIAL (N)UMBER"
  15. Just to add about worst services of Nokia, I have one 6155, hinge of which is broken, I spoke to ASC he says it has to be sent to Delhi for repair, cost Rs. 1800 and :wub:Time taken 20-25 days.
  16. Ppc Cant Get On Reliance Network

You mean replacing .nbf files from your pack to original one or vice versa. pl. make it clear. regards -prakash @sadik I am still awaiting your address info It is about using flasher software. One provided in folder by hetal is flashing proggy which do not check device ID, hence you can flash any nbf file.
  17. I think now you will be free soon from shackles of reliance, its locked and outdated handset and due to which wastage of huge amount of time. I will be free very soon. AS I too am fed up with handsets, its features and prices at PAR with GSM operators. Also I have to keep one GSM handset standby for international roaming. So why not to use GSM in first place. Data connectvity is one area where reliance is better but now GSM too offer reasonable data access. 50% speed at 50% price.
  18. My experience is that we land up spending more on handsets in CDMA (Read RIM) than GSM 'coz we never get what we really want, always compromise somewhere. In GSM you get handset exactly you want, so use for longer. Also CDMA handsets are really poor in quality and very lousy software wise (bcoz made impotent by reliance).
  19. Rim 6235 To Ruim 6235?

Yes flashing phone is absolutely legal. Only thing is nokia ASC will not do it for you. You have to get it done somewhere else.
  20. There are lot many posts in 6700 section here http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?showforum=41
  21. Ppc Cant Get On Reliance Network

Goto this address, select carrier and then download flash http://www.utstarcom.com/pcd/view_phone_de...D=30&sAct=0
  22. You are right. but what has happened for me (and i am sure for many others) is that at home and at office, I have ensured that others also have reliance phones to save costs because of on net packages of sms and calls. If I have to shift to GSM, it means that I have to shift the whole bundle and thus consider the loss of such facilities, costs of new mobiles for all, informing all of new numbers, etc!! So, on balance, it seems that I should wait for the PPC 6800 (to get the latest technology) and keep the small hope alive that CDMA operators start thinking more of their customers!! Thanks. By the time 6800 will be in India surely when obsolete world over. Reliance is selling 6700 after obsoleted only. So dont keep high hopes, it hurts.
  23. Samsung Hero - Tata Indicom

200 is good price to pay. Phone is really good. Can u give me address in delhi? I would like to get one.
  24. Dont import samsung 730, its not possible to use it on reliance. Rather buy 6700 from sadik or can import too. Almost same specs handset. 6700 supports RUIM too. Also 730 is windows 2003 which does not support non voltatile memory. 6700 is windows 2005 which supports non volatile memory. 6700 is available between 10k to 15k in India.(Depends on quality of handset)
  25. 2 Nam Setting

settings may be possible but can not log on to system with NAM2 active. Probably. 'coz system checks NAM number too.
