  1. Before invest in handset which works on cross network, remember to check with ruim of other service providers, just like GSM, they are locked to RUIM of service providers, some times they have locked MIN number means only MIN number of particular operator will work. Solutions in CDMA is not as easily available as GSM. Also CDMA, ERI / PRI is usually programmed on phone not on SIM / RUIM so WAP services will invariably not available except for the origincal service provider.
  2. Meizu Vs. Iphone

chinese price but may be reasonable quality to last atleast year and a half, how many of us use phone longer than 2 years? so better be in each hand.
  3. R-uim System Solutions

Funny part with Reliance RUIM is that it does not support International roaming, so standards and bene fits are on books atleast for relaince. They still give GSM SIM for inernational roaming and for CDMA roaming, you can not use RUIM handsets because RUIM handsets do not contain international PRL and RUIM PRL can not be upgraded using *228 services. So till relance wake up and take corrective action, we all have to feel happy reading only.
  4. xerox and samsung has identical models, see both and choose which ever is cheaper, identical means same model with same dies.
  5. Wanted Info For 6225 Functions

in 6225, you can upload java games using sync software. There is no other functionalities like rworld or MMS are enabled and there is no way you can enable. I will suggest not to waste time. 'coz esn of 6225 are registered for nothing except voice and SMS on reliance system. Use diego to know all phone settings.
  6. why dont you go for laser then? Samsung SCX 4100 will not cost more than 7K, printing cost of laser will be very low and no issue of ink jamming etc. It can not FAX, has flat bed scanner, printer and copier. Laser are expensive initially but cheaper running and better quality prints are advantages. Tonner refilling too now cost only 450 which is good for atleast 2000-3000 pages.
  7. Help Me 4 Wap

Agar aap reliance ke wap mein interested hanin hai to aap tata ka PRI flash karke tata ka wap use karsakte ho. CDMA main WAP settings phone main store hotaa hai to ek hi profile store kar sakte ho. ya toh tata ka ya reliance ka. voice services dono ka ue karsakte ho. MMS bhi ek hi ka chalega.
  8. Security Code For Cdma

    use diego to read.
  9. Ppc 6700 - Accessories, Addons, Batteries

Instead I will prefer LiON 4800 MAH rechargeable battery with suitable USB connector for PDA. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?Page...amp;ProdID=2013 It can give you cheaper alternate for PDA and total 1350 orginal battery + 4800 (3.5 times) additional power, means almost 8-10 hours of talk time.
  10. What if 1. It uses RUIM 2. If it has RS 232 connection I am trying to get solutions for many RIMWEBIANS who are dying for such solutions. I know there is good business opportunities for DAPO guys.
  11. First of all I am not expert in mobiles. Anyway, there are extended batteries available for 6600 and 6700 upto i think 3600 mAH. But they become bulky and also quite expensive. Call ringer seems to be an issue about processor or memory sleep or standby mode.
  12. This problem with all PDA, I saw in kyo 7135, xv 6600 and 6700 probably because PDA goes in sleep mode and CPU seems to be taking longer to wake up. At times I have seen that phone takes 20-40 seconds before any key becomes functional and call is dropped.
  13. Here you go I think there is no MMS support in reliance, it seems from extended rom file. Still I may be wrong. http://rapidshare.com/files/12056971/PPC6700.rar.html Try xscale, but on 6600 it does not have great impact on battery life, may be about 5-7%. but it slows system especially when in standby, means it takes pretty longer to become normal when system has gone to stand by mode.
  14. May be using WAP settings of Nokia. Settings has to be made in registry or ##data.
  15. See this, could be helpful http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/
  16. you have to do fdisk on it. It is bcoz most chinese players has hacked memory, means their capacity is always far lower than shown e.g 1 GB can be maximum 256 MB and worst 128 MB. Boot your computer using CD to command prompt. Delete partitions on drive create new partitions and then format. You will recover your drive. You can recover your player if OS is lost. read more at http://wiki.s1mp3.org/index.php/Main_Page
  17. There are two ways to achieve customization of PPC 1. Put extended ROM of other operator and do hard reset. 2. To remove customization, hard rest device, and when it comes up and shows message that your device will be customized in 3 seconds, press soft reset button, now your phone is installed just with what is provided with windows no functionalities are removed or added. In most cases operator removes facilities rather than adding. Except say MMS or accounts (network) etc. At times they even disable vital functionalities like BT Dialup, WMODEM etc.
  18. As I have seen extended ROM files of reliance it contains following program's: 1. PP_Version_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (Sets version info for extended ROM) 2. PP_SMSPriority_Apac_208700.sa.CAB (Disable SMS priority settings and instruct to handle emergency SMS as normal SMS) 3. PP_Setting_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (Sets emergency numbers like 100, 101, 102 and *333, *600 etc.) 4. PP_EnableTimeSync_Apac_208700.sa.CAB (Enables time sync with system), if checked continously ON then it drains more battery so I will sufggest that sync time with system once, then uncheck and then stop active sync. 5. PP_AreaCode_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (It fixes US area code to Indian area code) 6. PP_Connection_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (Creates default dial up connection, which can not be deleted in any ways.) 7. PP_DisableSMSDeliveryReceipt_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (name says it all) 8. PP_HTC_CM_Guardian_Apac_206702.sa.CAB (Connection manager gurdian, force restoration of deleted connection) 9. PP_ImportReg_Apac_211708.sa.CAB (disable field trial) 10 PP_Ril_Apac_211712.sa.CAB (THis is some RILphone and it sets SMS priority etc., I could not uderstand much) 11. PT_BT_Apache_205200.sa.CAB (AT COmmand verbarose translator) To enable ringtones, verizon and sprint installs enableringtone application, which is not found in reliance, I suppose.

  22. Hi, I changed following PRI strings and put my MDN number (Like R connect) and can use Opera Mini for browsing. Ofcourse then I can not use WAP browser. But I can use Opera Mini without any problem I think this way we may not be charged for RWORLD. We may be charged only for RCONNECT. PRI STRING IDS 1235 1237 1274 1275 Reset or remove all qnc username and passwords except MMS. Do not chage in MMS configuration.
  23. I wonder if it works in 6225 as 6225 is by default not provided with wap. can use diego to tweak.
  24. Best Handset For Playing Mp3

Max about 5 hours with Phone and MP3 player on. Battery can be replaced fast but it has to be replaced within 10 minutes to prevent data loss. Also it supports upto 4GB memory card. If phone is off than it is said to last about 8 hours. I do not use MP3 much so this data is not very reliable.
  25. Here is the comparison between 6600 and 6700 comparision.htm
