11-12 k is pretty cool price for 8 GB memory. 8 GB memrory alone cost about 2K. No smart phone is as cheap if this price is not attached with contract. I think they will offer along with contract only. -
Bsnl Evdo Data Card Review In Ahmedabad

Yes, I realized later that I am wrong. I will try again may be tomorrow for cloning PPC on EVDO. Reliance is 1X and by enabling RUIM, same modem can log on to 1X. Then it uses RUIM settings. BSNL too offers EVDO-RevA, means 2.5 mbps (Burst) But it is said that even in US you consistent speed on 700-900 kbps (Our rimweb memebr vishalsheth has eperience on EVDO) In Ahmedabad, yesterday, I gt Max 1.1 mbps and today its max 500 kbps. Today connection quality is bellow acceptable level. EVDO is saperate connection. You do not require wireless line from BSNL. -
you want to use PPC for what? FOr mails and browsing. Beware of Rs. 1 / 10KB charges. Means about Rs. 11000 per GB. If you are planning to use it only for voice and coverage, reliance is just great.

Today, speed is much lower than yesterday. When I called up guy in BSNL he said, since its lauched only since 15th, will take few days to stabilize. -
I differ on opinion about Nokia phones in CDMA except for signal strength. 1. Service or repairing of Nokia CDMA is done only in Delhi. 2. Go and buy BL-6C battery, 1200 mAH battery cost Rs. 1500 plus. Where as BL-5C, 1050 mAH cost about 700 bucks. BL-6C is used mainly in CDMA 3. Consumables / problematic spares like Body or flex strips are to be replaced only in Delhi. 4. Minimum time to repair phone is 2 weeks.

Good idea but the fact is to become responsive, one just need to keep eye and ears open. Reliance is keeping its mouth more open than eyes and ears. Also imparting good training and empowerment. Most Indian companies lacks in empowerment. Because we inherit British roots more than Britishers.

Bsnl Evdo Data Card Review In Ahmedabad

BSNL guys right now are not aware about how to activate foreign ESN. May be some time later they will start accepting means then we can have 2 NAM on one PPC. I do not play games. But it plays Youtube video easily. When I used it for surfing, you tube, it was showing constantly 600 kbps and at times 900-1000 kbps. BSNL is not offering voice or SMS on EVDO cards. They are offering it on 1X network. No idea about tariff If they accept outside ESN there can not be any legal issue. Nor any network issue as only one NAM can be activated at a time. -

Means they are finding ways to satisfy their greed and stripping customers. What makes WAP browsing expensive? And whats so great in their own RWORLD content? -

Dont rely on such pages. They take long to update their sites. -
CNG / PNG or Natural gas, is perhaps most eco friendly in temrs of carbon emission & cost. SInce electricity is produced in big plants, they are more carbon efficient than smaller boilers and units. But it is produced using coal, so it emits more NOx, SOx and Cox. It also emits more SPM and has ash which too is eco de grading. LPG is second best and second cheapest option.
-
Induction heating is based on induction (Some thing like transformer) It is claimed to be eco freindly but in reality it is not as it consumes more power (effectively even more carbon emission) than conventional cookers or stoves. Induction stove efficiency greatly reduced when you use no flat bottom cook wares (Indian utensils are usually not flat). Also It alter taste of food.

I dont think ADA is aware of what his father vision was and why he was sucessful. Dhirubhai never worked for smaller money. He always believed in quickest possible turn over and maximum possible penetration. Products or services. -
Yes, it is EVDO. Now CDMA operators are falling to line. Till now they wanted spectrum. Means 3G is now on horizon.
-
Perhaps thir report only has made reliance increase their tarriff. So that ADA became richer than MDA faster.

Nokia CDMA has pathatic service support. Please keep this in mind. I have two worst experiences, My Nokia 6155 has broken hinge, they charged me Rs. 1300 and 26 days. My senior directors Nokia 2865 within less than a year, its ear piece replaced. It was not replaced by Nokia because they asked for 15-20 days and Rs. 800 so I got it replaced after market repairer, who charged 200 bucks and 10 minutes. Now its in search network mode, they are asking for Rs. 1500 and again atleast 3 weeks. Nokia handsets are worst quality in CDMA, fragile and unreliable.

Wap means if you just want to browse sites and content provided by operator than just for Rs 4700 I bought one GSM handset for our senior director. Has expandable memory, 2000 multi location phone book, GPRS, Mini usb cable, 1.3 MP cam, radio, music player etc. Even I think chinse phones with big screen must be a pleasure. -
I dont know now use of smart phone on reliance network. But I will remain there for rimweb and also I will do some work on CDMA as it gives kick
-
Business card format SMS has pre fixes like //SCKL23F4BEGIN:VCARDVERSION XXXX etc. due These prefixes SMS are discareded in system. CDMA messaging is not as matured as GSM and again it is controlled a lot by operator.
-
Inter operator compatibility of MMS is problem in India. I dont know about GSM. Nokia cables are same here. About INR 1000 - 1200

According to me, vodaphone and idea stretched beyond their capacity. They are small operators without their own NLD network. You can be leader if you are banking upon some one else network. Rates MTNL and BSNL can offer are always the best and I believe sustainable rates.
