It is not defective zero sector, in many cases it is hacked zero sector. Year and a half back, I bought 1GB MP4 player from China. It can copy all 1 GB but can not read beyong 256 MB, I searched net and found that they hack zero / fat info and make it the capacity they want. I posted it some where here too.

Hello Mods and Admins, In rim web I see we all discuss about policies, tariff and related comparision From about 24000 members, I dont know how many members are regular visitor, but RIMweb should introduce itself as Not for profit, neutral forum to all service providers and Rimweb should conduct regular good quality polls and surveys and sell / give to service providers. Recent example, we all have wasted enough time on STD tarrif and reliance has still not reduced its tarrif. I sent my mail to them and waiting their response, but if Rimweb sent them mail showing results of 5000 members and what they may do if they do not reduce tarriff, service providers may take positive actions. I want RIMweb admins to earn too from this activity.

Aesthetically WM UI is definitely superior at the same time WM can not be used single handedly, where as Palm can be, infact you seldom need to take out stylus of touch screen. I dont know how to take screenshot of palm but will try to post ASAP.

Dual technoogy phones can make network technology less relevent to certain extent but not fully. For example, in GSM, irrespective of brand and model of handset, you can send Long SMS, MMS (If handset supports) but in CDMA if said feature is not registered in system as supported system, you can not use that feature. LMS is supported by most modern handset but can not be sent if you do not use ESN of known handset in system. CDMA need to open up to compete with GSM. It is surely far superior than GSM because of new technology.

In kyocera 7135, reliance was not giving any connection. If you want you can use these settings in Kyo 7135 too.

PALM or WM is personal choice. I was too apprehensive for palm due to my bad experience with Kyocera 7135 (PAlm 3.5) But I was wrong when I saw palm garnet (5.4) At the same time I had not very great experience with WM2003 as well. Palm is simple OS, not very ornamented / jazzy. Where as WM is modern highly ornamented OS. Palm device can be used with one hand, WM can never. Palm has almost all sort of applications but in ratio of 1 for every 100 applications for WM may be even less. Right now only 2 devices which can be used on RIM 700P and 755P May be centro in next few days (not sure) keep visiting this place for update.

Micro USB cables are available freely in computer accessories and hardware stores or may be in croma too. Croma will be damn expensive. I think motorola too uses micro USB in some of their phone (I am not sure) If you sync your LG with outlook, then yes you can sync contacts and schedules from old phone. This will be charged per minute. You can connect using UTS and SC810 usernames too, These servers are down quite often like TYPICAL RWORLD, and speed is low some times (I think enough for mobile content). But here you will be charged 10 ps / 10 KB.

Its same with all operators. Tell me except for 1 or max 2 plans, all operators has almost similar plan.

If u want to do what u said go for PPC / PALM (Smart phones). No chinese mobile will be able to do it. They say it PDA because they have touch screen and OS with ICONS. They do not support even java.

I have better experience of CC in reliance than any other. My plan change, ISD problems, IR roaming problems all solved in few hours. Except one problem which took 8 hours (National roaming was deactivated for unknown reasons) Getting thru takes 4-5 tries but then they resolve problem faster.

You have handset in your hand? you have serial cable? Do you already have active connection on reliance?

You can buy from E bay, but best would be to buy from person like sadik or the one who regularly import handset in bulk, so that your hassles are passed on to importer and also that way you get stuff ate better price than importing on your own. Relianc do not accept phones from outside, so they have to be forced to run on reliance.

Good news, Now I think only reliance left.

Do you hard reset your phone before ROM flashing?

Ya Akshat, Rworld is not working with these spice C810 settings. I have posted these settings on Spice C810 discussion group. Rworld is opening, but we can't download anything from rworld. When I search thru google, some letters and buttons are not visible on screen. You will not be able to downola any thing from R world because R world uses JAVA and JAVA based authentication.
