As per my experience, samsung 191 and 563 gives best speed. Thats the reason I still have one 191 which is used solely for data.

Symbian is less resource hog than WM and its open source. WM and symbian has its own benefits. WM and symbian both covers business and entertainment needs. Same way all smart phone OS does the same thing. It depends what are your needs and fancy.

NO, installing venturi software do increase speed a bit as it uses reliance proxies and scale down images. But in absolute terms there is no improvement in speed.

As I mention every where, Nokia services for CDMA is absolutely poor. They take 3 weeks for smallest of problems. So be aware before buying Nokia CDMA.

If handset do not have WMODEM installed then you can not connect to computer. WM5 (AKU 3.5) onwards they have connection sharing instead of WMODEM and some times firewall too causes problem.

V9M is good handset but too expensive. You may consider k1M which is equally good, stylish (70%) and meets your all requirement at much lower cost.

It is interface speed between two devices. My EVDO enabled 700p connects at 920 kbps. It does not matter at all.

For CDMA Nokia is BIG NO. Pathatic service. It takes 3-4 weeks to attend smallest problem in CDMA handsets. Nokia phones has good implementation of java and PCSYNC and standardized accessories Samsung, if you ask any technical question to call centre they hardly know any thing. Also accessories (data related) availability is problem. Also you can not install java games in all handsets. LG has good value for money. Poor PC sync (Just better than chinese phones), good service, cheaper price of spares and accessories. But very poor UI. As Dhiraj has mentioned some times its better to go for imported handset by spending just 3-4k more. Motorola has good handsets at good price. One should consider moto too, now a days.

It has nothing to do with your browsing. It just reduce speed as data packets are lost. Lost data packets due to very high latency causes such errors. Nothing to worry about.

Indeed Iphone clones are coming from all manufacturers. Hats off to iphone.

Nokia does not seems to be interested in CDMA, they have their strength in GSM and I think in GSM, they have best phones. In countries like India, cheap has to be cheap. Also most companies knows that Indians take buying decisions based on references and not actual data. Hence though I do not like samsung personally, I believe they make best quality phones in any given price range. Still they do not sell as much as Nokia / LG coz LG is poor mans nokia and nokia is rich mans LG.

But SE has best autofocus phones at best prices. Photo quality (Outdoor) is very good for even printing

Experience with different companies for different people varies. I have worst experience for Citi bank. Best for ICICI then SBI then SCB. HSBC will revert annual charges every year despite being lifetime free card. SBI will revert occasional late payment charges just upon request so experiences goes on but one can not bench mark quality of service.

I dont understand why CDMA operators are not taking lead by introducing EVDO? THey do not require additional resources / spectrum to do it. Ofcourse, government permission is needed, but I dont think that is a problem. Now it seems with falling voice charges, they have realized that data and VAS are the only way to ramp up ARPU.

you can extract if you take image of rom and then dismentle it. Image is taken in bootloader mode, till WM5.
