  1. I didn't find any issues with net speed but calling is big problem. When I try to make a call, most of the time I get message "Network is busy". Have to try 4-5 times before getting through. Even anybody calling me faces the same problem.

That's the issue persisting from day one. Though things have been better in calling front. Just data speed has not been that fast in case of mine

  2. No. (Because Reliance is treating 3G data and 4G data as separate pools - means if you connect in 3G/H+ mode the balance will be deducted from 3G pool whereas if you connect in 4G/LTE mode the balance will be deducted from 4G pool, reason why you are not being able to use 4G though it is showing connected)

N.B. Vodafone treats 3G/4G data as common so you can use in either mode.

Reliance might remove this restriction once 4G is commercially launched for its 3G GSM customers (seems they are trying to keep away the GSM 3G users from using 4G at the moment and we are also suffering)

Airtel is also following the rcom footstep. Cant use 4G Data for 2G.

  3. Yes it will connect to 4G and even data will show connected BUT You will not get 4G.

To get 4G you need to activate any 4G data plan separately - only then it will start. Till then enjoy 3G.

Its really weird as Rcom is treating 3G and 4G as separate packs, where I am using Vodafone 3G/4G pack with any network mode - means either 2G/Edge/3G/H+/4G/LTE with the same 3G/4G data pack.

But in case of Rcom I am able to use 3G/H+ and not 4G/LTE data in my prepaid phone.

Further it is really funny as I can use 4G data in my Data card (Using in my handset) with 4G balance, but if I switch to 3G/H+ my core balance starts getting deducted instead of 4G data balance.:unexp:

Come on Reliance GROW UP !

    I see....
    Thanks for detailed explanation
