didnt you get any help from ppcgeeks? i think there should be something on this. as all of us are users of reliance network in India, i am not too sure how many of us will be able to help you properly . also noticed on ppcgeeks that 20755 kitchen is up. will try to cook someething and see if it solves my green call button problem.

I just bought a 4gb kingston MIcro SD card for My PC. Checked it at the shop on PPC, showed with 3.8GB or something. Got back home and tried reading it using adaptor and card reader. THe PC does not recognise it. It shows as a device but does not open/ format it. PPC still does, can copy files on it as well. Used something called a flash format on PPC, but no use whatsoever. Help would be appreciated.

I am planning to buy a new laptop. I would be grateful if someone could clarify a few of my doubts. My preferable requirements are Core 2 duo 15.4 inch screen 2-3 gb ram Any size hard disk Brand - preferably HP OS - any/ none Queries How good is amd? Is dual core recommended for a normal user? Which core 2 duo is recommended? Does anyone use 14.1 inch? I feel it will be very small. How will 2 Gb ram perform with c2d and vista Is lenovo a total no no? How good is dell in comparison to HP? Sony I think are a little overpriced. Where can I get the cheapest laptop from US/ Dubai/ Singapore? Are there any special offers/ schemes in india? I had heard there was some students discount on some brands. Is finger impression thing any good? I don't see much point in that. How useful is light scribe feature? Does anyone use it frequently? Would investing in blue ray be a good thing to do? I will ask more questions as and when they come to mind

laptop is not going to be my primary computer. Its only for mobility. I have a desktop with 500Gb HDD. Also the offer was something like this:- There was an instant discount of 130 $. PLus a 200$ discount if the total value of the laptop was equal or more than 999$. The config was customizable though within limits. Thats why i could omit things like light scribe and finger print thing and include a better processor (default was Dual core) and better battery. I included ear phones which were for 6 $ as the total was 997$. So with a total of 1003 dollars I got a discount of 330 $ add the tax, it came out to be 730 $ which yesterday amounted to 33100. Were citibank not charging 3.5% on international transactions, i would have paid from my card. PS - which is the wifi router most people would recommend? I have heard netgear is good. which particular model is the most popular and trustworthy?

unless they incorporate add ons, i dont see any reason to abandon firefox

using the latest loaded rom HTC diamond keypad and board not working. So you are stuck without T9 or word prediction features. Othwerwise OK till now.

waiting for no2chem's 2.2 and hetals modification of it.

I use vista and xp . have used ubuntu in the past. will install it again in a few days
