I too had such a problem once with my sch 191, but i think resetting the memory was all that was required or u can try resetting the phone.
-
every handset has some flaws but i guess if u want a non flip open phone and other requirenents that u mentioned: go for 6130 nokia has certain advantages but i guess the color display is poor and r world is not supported and all wap access on reliance phones is through R world only so i guess 6130 at 6799 will be a good buy. read all the reviews of all the phones and then take a decision I bought GTRAN in a hurry and had to suffer for it before buying 723 0 i didi a lot of research and now i am very happy with it.

I have a 7230 and of course it runs on java. My friend has a 6000. as far as the upgrading of MMS is concerned they call that whenever their server is down and say that it is being upgraded. dont expect anything so soon. but keep complaining on CC and chairman s office every now and then. That is the only thing that will speed up the progress.

Entry-level Mobile Office Popular Jonah Ramball Reliance Infocomm has claimed that its Mobile Office application on the R-world platform is more efficient, powerful and cheaper than competitors like the Blackberry launched by Airtel. The application, launched recently, is available on Reliance's R-World platform and is an initiative targeted at mobile executives. It provides users with access to their office e-mail on Reliance phones capable of accessing R-World. Mahesh Prasad, President - Applications Solutions and Content Group, Reliance Infocomm, said, "Office Mail allows middle-level servicemen to access their corporate emails. They are not required to purchase expensive handsets to access their office e-mail, unlike other mobile service providers. And R-world is available on most of the entry-level phones, so it caters to all levels of society." Prasad also claimed that the data transfer capability on Reliance's CDMA network was faster than GSM (GPRS or EDGE) networks. He said that its network was capable of touching data transfer speeds of up to 144 Kbps while GPRS is only able to deliver 10 Kbps. EDGE, which theoretically is supposed to deliver 384 Kbps only delivers about 20 to 30 Kbps. "GPRS networks are patchy while Reliance's CDMA data network is not only 3 to 4 times faster but also a mirror to our voice network service" said Prasad. Applications on the R-world platform are downloaded from the mobile operator's servers and those that are used frequently are stored on the phone. "We have an edge over our competitors since even our entry-level handsets - like RD-2030 and Samsung XPS - are capable of R-world. Also, about 7 million handsets have data capabilities, which make them better suited for Internet connectivity," he said. Mobile Office gives users access to their enterprise email. The application is capable of handling POP3/IMAP email accounts. It also includes Office Directory and Group communication. The R-world platform provides a separate web-mail access, which lists pre-configured, popular Internet email. Users can also access VSNL accounts. This service is currently free. Reliance is meanwhile planning to make R-world a paid facility. It is working out the payment structure and viability. "The pricing will be affordable, at the same time compelling and comparative," said Prasad. R-world has about 120 to 150 available services. source techtree.com

My friend just bought this 6000 phone and it is certainly the best looking phone from reliance thus far. as far as the features are concernedi was not too impressed. The phone does not come with data cable. They are charging 10k for this and they dont give data cable, thats not done! It can not recieve MMS, though it can send photos clicked on it The R world platform looks totally bland and added to that videos and some other features are missing The display and screen area are really wonderful Correct me if i am wrong

yeah it is! considering the number of sulking customers they have surprising to see how and why more and more people are jumping in
