Audio Output for Philips HD Media Player HMP3000

Recommended Posts

Hi friends,

I have shortlisted the following media player as it is within my budget I am getting it for Rs 3600/-

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?slg=en&scy=pl&ctn=HMP3000/12Also
it supports all of the major formats which I want like BD ISO/M2TS/MKV etc....
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=HMP3000%2F12&dct=FAQ&faqview=1&new_tmpl=1&refdisplay=HAV_MEDIA%20BOX_003&refnr=0085360&scy=PL&slg=AENThe
The only problem is it only supports 2ch audio and does not support DTS HD MA audio.

It lists that it has Digital audio output, if I connect receiver in Digital audio output which decodes all audio will it give 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound?

thanks for any help.

Hi Satish,

Thanks for the offer.

I have already checked this product in Sony showroom, does not support BD/DVD ISO. Also you can't select audio tracks from M2TS files.
