HTC EVO Design 4G - Auto Restart Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi fello rimwebians

I am facing booting issue with my HTC Evo Design 4g. Since last one week, it was getting switch off as soon as i used to put ON the DATA. Without data ON, it was working OK. Afetr few days, It started switching off automatically just after complete booting. Now It is not even booting. just after a second of LIGHT ON it goes blank(switch off). Now even it is not booting to H Boot also.

I have charged battery in off condition for full night, but still no success in booting. Is it battery issue or something else, please guide me to resolve the issue. I am on ICS at present and rooted.

Thanks

Seniors, pls reply. If it is battery issue where from can i get the same. I do stay in mumbai

Hi guys, I am facing an strange problem of auto reboot of my HTC Evo Design 4g. I have tried following, but no success.

1. I was rooted on stock ICS which I hard reset.
2. Changed to Stock ICS without root.
3. Changed to new battery
4. Shifted to Stock Gingerbread without any additional app from market.

All these effort did not give any positive result. My phone still restart almost once in every Half an Hour without any error. Please guide

Thanks

Issue in first post was battery issue. Renewing battery fixed the boot issue.

thanks

I have notice one more issue yesterday. I manually switched off phone, but after 2 hrs it got automatically switched on but could not boot properly. Seems OS crash as it was rebooting in a loop without complete boot, so did factory reset but auto reboot issue still persist. Anybody faced such issue, pls reply.

have you checked your radio version in ICS and gingerbread ?

are both same or different.

other wise you have only one option left, Hardware repair

Put the stockimg.zip in root of your SD card. If your phone already runs on ICS hboot then you need stock ICS ROM. Power on in hboot and reload the stock ROM. Its still better if you consider boot repair by JTAG before serious damage happens to logic board.
