Rooting: Samsung Galaxy Note II

Samsung Note ii Rooting method:-

Sprint:-

1. This will void the warranty of the device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting the device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. Your device needs to have at least 60% of battery life left.

Required Files-

1. Root Package

2. Odin

Method:

1. Place both the files you just downloaded to your Desktop.

2. Extract files from both the archives to your Desktop.

3. Double-click on Odin executable file and it should launch.

4. Click on PDA button and select the CF-Root file you extracted to your Desktop.

5. Make sure that only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time boxes are checked in the Odin, leave rest of the boxes unchecked.

6. Turn OFF your device.

7. Reboot the device into Download mode. This can be done by simply holding down the Volume DOWN+Home+Power

buttons together.

8. Connect the device to your PC using the USB cable.

9. Hit Start button and wait for the process to finish.

10. It should take a minute or two to finish flashing the file.

11. Once it’s done, the device should reboot automatically.

12. You’re rooted now!

Now you are rooted and can confirm it by installing Root-checker app. If u wish to install Custom ROM you can flash it at your own risk.

For Verizon:

1. This will void the warranty of the device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting the device if there’s any

unrooting procedure available.

2. Your device needs to have at least 60% of battery life left.

3. Make sure that the drivers are installed on your PC.

Required Files:

1. Odin

2. Rooted Image

Method:

1. Place both the files you downloaded to your Desktop.

2. Extract files from both the archives to your Desktop. You should get ODIN executable and the rooted image (.tar.md5)

3. Double-click on the Odin executable file and it’ll launch.

4. Click on PDA and select the Rooted Image file you extracted to your Desktop.

5. Make sure that the Auto Reboot option is unchecked.

6. Turn OFF your device.

7. Reboot the device into Download mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.

8. A warning screen should appear, just press the Volume UP key.

9. Connect the device to your PC via USB cable

10. One of the boxes in Odin should turn Yellow and that means your device’s been recognized by the tool.

11. Click on the Start button and it’ll start flashing the rooted image.

12. After a few minutes, you should see a green message saying Passed.

13. Pull the battery out of your device.

14. Put it back into the device but don’t turn ON the device.

15. While the device’s turned OFF, press and hold Volume UP+Home+Power buttons together.

16. You should boot into the Stock Recovery Mode

17. In the Recovery, choose Wipe cache option to wipe off all the cache.

18. Once done, reboot the device by choosing reboot system now option.

19. You’re all done!

Brilliant! Your device has been rooted successfully and you can confirm it by installing the Root Checker app.

For US Cellular:

1. This will void the warranty of the device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting the device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. Make sure your device’s charged fully or has at least 60% of battery life left.

Required Files

  1. Root Package

Method

1. Download and place the Root Package archive on your Desktop

2. Extract files from the archive to your Desktop. You can do so using freetools like WinRAR.

3. Double-click on Odin executable file and it’ll launch.

4. In Odin, click on PDA and select the CF-Root file you extracted to your Desktop along with Odin.

5. Make sure that only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time boxes are checked in the tool, leave Repartition unchecked.

6. Turn OFF your device.

7. Reboot the device into Download mode by simply pressing and holding the Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.

8. Press the Volume UP button to continue.

9. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

10. Click on Start button and it’ll begin flashing the root package.

11. Once it’s done, your device should reboot automatically.

12. And you’re rooted now!

Great! Your device has been successfully rooted.

Friends I m getting below error on installing any apps from.playstore as in screen shot post rooting & removing bloatwares. I cannot install only when.I restart.the phone.
