  1. New Nokia 6275 @ 9,750

Hi All, I just bought this set in beginning of October, and am planning to move to Airtel from Reliance. If somebody is interested in buying this two month old set (with everything intact - original bills, Original Battery, Box, Neck Arrester and a free USB Cable (CA-42) for data transfer - please contact me at this address: -------- spacerikier@yahoo.com -------- Considering an Electronic deprecation of 50% p.a., I am quoting the handset price as: -------- Rs. 8500 -------- Thanks, Rishi
  2. New Nokia 2865 Cdma

Hi, How about RConnect on this phone? Has anyone tried that on Nokia 2865? What cable do you need, and does it work on Windows XP and FC5 (and/or Ubuntu) ? Thanks a lot, SpaceRiker PS: Once I buy the phone, I will post a complete featureWise review here.

  4. Created more tones for 5340 specifically. But you can use them elsewhere too: here is the download link - TonesFor5340.zip (rimweb) For those who are new: go to this post to know more on how to develop and upload ringtones to/for LG 5340 .
  5. Ringtone Formats

For developing and uploading ring tones to 5340, here is the complete procedure: http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?s=&a...ost&p=69977 Enjoy!
  6. This is an awesome forum. Thank you so much everybody! I have attached some more ring tones for 5340 here. Here is the exact method of creating tones for 5340: - Take any midi file and rename it so that it ends with 150 or a greater number. Note that it must be greater than 150. Like a ring tone: halla.mid must be renamed as: halla150.mid or halla174.mid. If you call it halla129.mid, that won't work. Make sure, they are exactly three numbers between 150 and 199. - No two ring tones on your phone must have the same last three digits. Like halla157.mid and gulla157.mid can't be played together. So rename gulla157.mid to gulla158.mid or anything else. - Take midis from here: mididb.com - Take psm player from here: http://www.programy.netbus.pl/psm-player-soft/ - Shorten your midis (using psm player), although I have tried midis upto 15 KB, I am not sure what the upper limit is. Record your midis using the RED button. Choose "Ring Tone Mode" and set "File Size Limit" anything upto 15360 bytes (experiment with higher limits - but tell us too if you're successful). - Cut any silent zones using the "Scissor" button. Give the range reading it from the player when it is playing and select: "Delete the data in selected range". - Store your files on the phone using BitPim. - Don't forget to add them here too! Note: To upload the tones to your phone using BitPim, do this: - Connect your phone. - Open up BitPim and go to Edit > Settings. Choose "Other CDMA Phone" and select the Com port where your phone is connected (use Browse to do that). - Now go to menu View > View Filesystem and click on the '/' which comes out in the new window pane. Expand the tree (click on the + next to /, which will result in this: "Retrieving..." - Go to brew > share > ringers . Now drag your tones to this pane and drop them. - When you are done, right click somewhere on the pane where you see your tones and select "Reboot Phone". - When your phone gets restarted, test if the tones are working there. Enjoy! TonesFor5340.zip
  7. Reliance Cheated LG RD5340 Customers

Hi All, I really hate Reliance for what they did to me with this 5340! I am stuck on this handset now (cuz I can't use HCC - as there was some stupid offer going on). I wasn'y aware of any offer and was interested in porting my old num to this handset. First of all, I can't charge the phone while on Internet. The damn thing has charging point and data port on the same butt and they can't push in at the same time. Second - my phone's ringer isn't workin' at all. It don't ring at all - bloody thing. The phone just vibrates and doesn' ring. Third - there are so many people whom I can see they're calling but the MIssed calls won't register! Can anybody please please help me out! I would like to change the handset if possible, but if not, can I resolve any of the above issues??? Thank you so much! SpaceRiker
  8. Lg Rd 5340 Connection Woes

Hi, The above method worked perfectly for me! Here's what you have to do: 1. Install your data cable (with the driver that comes with your CD). 2. Download RD2030's RConnect (aka netConnect) software from reliance site for Serial* Connection 3. Select the COM Port where your USB data cable is configured. 4. Check your Data Baud Rate in 5340 under Phone>Data Settings>Data BAUD. It MUST be 115200 5. Click [YES] when the installations asks. 6. Enjoy! Great ain't it? Bye!
