Can anyone please confirm if anyone is getting 4G in bangalore? And any idea if the 800Mhz band will be used for GSM and CDMA is completely decommissioned i guess.

Hi Rafic, I got my HTC 816 S-off and able to revert back the bands that i had modified, now my phone is on stock rock. I had performed the same steps like for 510, but i can still see that UICC\nosim error. Please let me know if there is anything that needs to be performed. Thanks!

Thanks Rafic! i have unlocked 2 HTC desire 510 as per your procedure in the other thread, but before that i had played with desire 816 by following many threads in XDA. steps that i followed. 1. unloacked bootloader 2. enabled DIAG 3. with QPST i changed bands (removed CDMA band and this is what i made a mistake) 4. tried GSM sims but didnt not work, and disabled DIAG (another crap that i did) 5. now, radio seems to be off and on after some time it keeps stable but in the phone information its stays at WCDMA. 6. I wanted to revert back the changes, but could not enable DIAG again, if I enter MSL, it just accepts and reboots but no DIAG mode. please let me know if you have any idea to enable DIAG so that I revert back changes.

Hi Rafic, can you please tell me the how did you managed to programmed it work on reliance.. I have HTC 816 from 5 months,but could not make it to work on any carrier..

Did you click on start after the device verified message ? You need click on SIM UNLOCK after that. Please try inserting a different SIM as some times it may be an issue with SIM also. I am not getting device verified message after click back from "SIM Unlock Log" but i am able to click on start and click om "sim lock". but no luck. the kernal version is as below. I get No Sim card message with this sime, btw it was cropped to micro sim. And sim unlock I am no sure how to verify, I click on sim lock in Simunlocker app( i didnt get device verified message) and it frooze for few secs, after that I restarted phone. please let me know if there is anything that I am missing? THANKS!!

hey, can you please tell me which sim are you using? even I think i got it unlocked, but when insert reliance CDMA sim its not detecting. Do we need to click on "sim lock" in the Simunlocker app with UICC sim inserted in the phone? Please help me.. Thanks in advance!

I have followed the entire procedure, and with DFS log also says device unlocked, but when i put Reliance CDMA sim and reboot, it still says no sim. Any help would be appreciated.

I have done till rooting but not able to unlock the sim. I am able rename HTCOMADM_SPCS.apk and HTCOMADM_SPCS.odex, but not able to copy the attached HTCOMADM_SPCS.apk to the /system/app Also the sim unlock helper is not working when i hit back it doesnt say anything like "Device Verified" can someone please let me know if I am missing anything?

After completing Step 4, not able to do step 5, as it keeps running the Hands Free Activation even after it failed. Could you please guide me if there is anything that i missed? Thanks for this guide!!
