there is an issue of search engine ranking dropping of rimweb.com and rimweb.in have to do some catching up as well, which may take some more time. Anyway, both rimweb.com and rimweb.in has been indexed by Google, and I've seen Googlebot spending a lot of time at rimweb.in these days

Thats a good point by Amit, atleast the FWP R-Connect prices should go down since the 'mobility' feature doesn't come for FWP.

Rs.3120 is the normal showroom price for Nokia 2112 Those data cables could be from another manufacturer, which caused the price difference.

Well, a custom skin for the forum as per the home page can be made, but will take more time. And everyone prefers the default skin over custom skins, thats why I haven't made up my mind on custom skins.

The forum page layout can be changed by selecting the skin you like. You can find the skin selector at the bottom of all forum pages. BTW, I'll be installing yet another new cool skin for the forum today

RIM to provide owner's vital information, puts ICE on R World Mumbai, August 05, 2005 DAKC Reliance Infocomm has launched a unique initiative that will host its mobile users' personal information and "health card" on R World - its portfolio of mobile data and multimedia services. This is a pioneering effort by an Indian telecom company. The information can be critical and can save the users' life in the case of an accident or some other emergency. With this service titled Emergency under HotNnew menu of R World, a Reliance IndiaMobile (RIM) user can store his/her personal details such name, emergency contact phones and vital medical information such as blood group, diabetes details, blood pressure, allergies, and history using R World. Anybody can access the owner's personal information by sending the keyword "ICE" (which stands for in Case of Emergency) as SMS message to 1234 from that phone. The service is being offered free. The data of customers-- thousands of them--is stored in a secure server at Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City. In just over two days nearly 6,000 RIM users have already updated their ICE information using this service. "Technology plays a major role in helping store and access a seemingly simple yet vital information about the phone owner's in case of an emergency. All one has to do to get this is send "ICE" on Reliance Mobile or click R World, " says Mahesh Prasad, President - Applications and Solutions Group, Reliance Infocomm. "One should at least save the word " I C E " in one's mobile phone address book, and enter the phone numbers of the next of kin one would want to be contacted in case of an emergency," adds Prasad.

That is a different issue which ofcourse has to be configured in their network, even I have sent them suggestions for that long before. But the LG RD 2130 is configured to receive SMS characters of upto 140 only.

It is not a problem with the Reliance network, but the handset simply has 140 characters limit for both incoming and outgoing SMS. I guess you did't know about it before you brought it ? You may try Ashok's 'trick', and I hope you are techie enough to work it out !

Depends on how you use it, rough use can make those rubber keys go bad. Mine doesn't have any problem, bought about an year ago when it was launched.

There isn't any problem with the keypad, it does feel soft, but it hasn't wor out for me even after using it for a long time. The battey life is much better than LG RD 2030 and you can really feel the difference since you were a 2030 user.
