There is nothing more that can be done regarding it. I can't contact Invision Power Services regarding this issue either, since we do not have a license.

can you give the link to desktoplite software 30508[/snapback] check out www.lgmobiles.com

Yes, you need a data cable and the software (driver and dialer program) usually comes along with it in CD, even if you buy it from cheap third party suppliers, and they will work fine just like the original cables provided by Reliance. You can also download the software from www.relianceinfo.com
-
but you need to buy a standard USB cable right ? You can buy cables for using R-Connect services for as cheap as Rs.150 from the market. And it works fine too, just like the imported cable supplied by Reliance Infocomm at Rs.1200

yes, as sudhir_garg has mentioned above, the updations may vary as the feature is in a testing phase now.

Reliance Infocomm makes forays into Kashmir GK FINANCIAL DESK Srinagar, Apr 25: Looking Kashmir as a brimming market Reliance Infocomm Ltd has commenced work on setting up its telecom network in Jammu and Kashmir. The company, which recently received regulatory approvals for setting up its CDMA network in Jammu and Kashmir state is planning to connect 125 towns and cities in the state and expects to commence operations by August 15, 2005, Reliance Infocomm sources told a national channel today. The company is planning to install huge infrastructure to cater to the services of the customers in a better way. Sources said the company would bank on the its 80,000 km Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) terra bit cable system, which now spans from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The company would also employ satellite technology to reach to “difficult terrains” in the state, sources said. Reliance Infocomm intends to offer code division multiple access-based (CDMA 2000 1x) technology to offer wireless and fixed line telephone connectivity in J&K, they said. ”The Reliance Group company would be the first private operator to offer services in the terrorism affected state, and the network is expected to help in maintaining law and order and restoring peace, as communication is one of the major issues confronting the state,” they said. The setting up of the communications network would also help in giving boost to tourism and the economic reconstruction of the state, they added. State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) had earlier launched its telephony network in the state. Sources said the company has begun identifying properties for setting up Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) and switching stations, equipment needed for providing connectivity, they said. It is also planning to give importance to pilgrimage and tourism destinations, by providing connectivity to these areas on a priority basis, they added.

-
Well, its a resticted kind of R-World. Even though some of the applications are of 'Membership (M)' type... so it will be good for those who haven't subscribed to R-World !
-
I was able to send ringtones via MMS without any problem or delay yesterday. If you are experiencing any problems, just try later. Afterall its not an official way of sending free MMS ringtones
-
WAP browsers in GPRS phones cannot open that URL, but web browsers in PDA's can. Yes, that limited R-World page can be accessed by PDA users using non-Reliance connections as well.

Sorry, it is possible to add the new field only after the default fields.

Yes, blocking Google Adsense will be a major obstacle for revenue generation for many 'free to public' websites (like RIMweb ). Even though the percentage of members using Mozilla Firefox is very low, it is a serious issue indeed as rEdshiFt has pointed out.

There is no 'customised for RIM' psmplayer. Any version will work, I use version 3.80

so it is a serial cable ? did the drivers get installed correctly ? did the phone get detected when installing R-Connect dialer ?
-
Chandu, that can happen if there is some problem with your account too, which can be resolved by Reliance techs, so make sure to lodge a complaint and keep on inquiring them to solve the complaint.

Did the cable work for R-Connect ?
