TRAI had extended the deadlines for Reliance, TATA, etc. for changing the numbering scheme when they had a meeting on May 3rd. No dates have been announced yet, but I guess it should take a while. Interestingly, yesterday I received an SMS from Reliance with the following... "Dear Customer, Your unique Reliance IndiaMobile Number reamins as 4623******. Other directory Nos. stand withdrawn -Reliance" It must be that the temporary numbers have been withdrawn, not sure though. Anyone else got such an SMS ?

Well, I've been using this feature of Google long before. There is no need to type the URL in the GoTo field of R Surf. Just browse to Google on your R Surf and then click 'Search Options' and then 'Goto URL'. Thats the same URL that Static has given above.

how is that possible?? 10 kilo bytes/sec= 600kilo bytes/min. i.e 1.2 MB File takes only 2 mins ... 12 kilo bytes/sec= 720 kilobytes/min i.e. 1.44 MB file takes only 2 mins impossible... or is it? Ofcourse its possible if the connection speed is constant throughout. But it isn't practical to get constant speed throughout the download session. So it may seem 'impossible' to you

Unbill info includes RConnect charges (not the monthly subscription fee, but the usage charges). Anyway, it doesn't include any monthly rental charges.

The handset charger is covered under a warranty of 1 year. I got mine replaced for free by LG couple of days ago, after the same problem of loose connection at the base.

Yeah, its quite irritating. Since it can store 30 entries, it is not a memory problem to record the two calls seperately. I hope LG will fix this issue in their futures upgrades, even if it is a bug or not.

Try accessing the net at different times of the day (like early morning, late night, afternoon, etc.) and see if the speed varies or not.
