<< Thanks to sponsoring members, 4 more winners have been added to the list now in the main post >> Winners will be contacted via email from tomorrow
  2. You will have to take care of the following: 1) The new account should not have the same address even if you are registering with a different name (ofcourse you should use a different name). eBay's suspension rules says that you cannot register an account under another family member's name when your account is suspended. You can use your neighbour's address, just make sure only the locality is the same. 2) Use a different mobile/phone number. 2) Make sure that your PC IP address is not static. 2) Do not use the same browser to register the new account. Either clear cookies or use a different browser as a dedicated one to use the new account.
  3. Resetting My Mogul

    1. Press and hold both soft keys (the two buttons above the phone control buttons) on the device. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your device. 2. Release the stylus but keep the softkeys pressed when you see the following message on your device screen: “Do you want to erase all user data and restore to manufacture default?” 3. Slide open the hardware keyboard, and press R to restore to factory default or press X to exit the hard reset process.

  8. Hey, Its Snowing....

Any color other than the existing color won't match the skin. It is visible on skins other than default which I checked (currently on beta) but I think they would be released some time in January only and by that time the snow would be gone
  9. Lets Ask Arun

There are no groups after "Guru" as of now, have to add more groups now. Yes, increased PM quota for all member groups now.
  10. Trick To Get 100% Free Gifts From Ebay.

eBay are pretty strict about members using such tricks and would result in a suspension and your explanations after that will not be reviewed at all. Your name, address and phone number would get blacklisted forever. They have suspended many accounts recently even for the slightest "trick" including sharing discount coupons.
  11. The All New Rimweb!

Finally Invision Power Board 3 has been released and RIMweb has a new look and feel now. Even though v3.0.0 was released couple of weeks ago, it had some bugs and 3.0.1 was available yesterday night with most of the issues sorted out. IP.Board 3 comes with a lot of new features and improvements. A review of the new features introduced in IP.Board 3 can be found in the PDF attached with this post. There are new features not listed there as well which you will come across when using the forums. There will be changes/updates done throughout the day as the custom settings in the old skin were not imported to the new skin. Please use this topic to report any issue that you have come across so that we can check it or ask the developers to check it. Note: Internet Explorer 6 will not be fully supported. All functionality of IP.Board (registering, posting, reading, etc.) will work under IE6 but IPB will not look the same cosmetically in IE6 and some areas may give errors. IPB3.pdf
  12. You may have to wait till April 2010 for mobile number portability 19 Dec 2009, 0004 hrs IST Economic Times The mobile users in India may now have to wait till April 2010 to be able to enjoy mobile number portability (MNP) services, a facility that allows users to change their operator while retaining the number. MNP was earlier scheduled to be implemented from January 1, 2010, in metros and large circles, while the rest of the country was slated to have access to this from April. At a review meeting on Friday to evaluate MNP preparedness between operators, DoT and Trai officials agreed to extend the deadline for metros to April 2010. Both private operators and state-run telecom firms - BSNL and MTNL - during the meet said that while equipment for MNP was already in place, they can be tested and commission only by March next year. In another move that could derail the implementation of MNP in the country, the home ministry has also pointed out that minority shareholders of US-based Telcordia Technologies were only a front, and had no experience in running telecom operations. The home ministry also raised questions on Telcordia’s operations in Pakistan.
  13. Nokia 2505 Cdma

Nokia 2505 is a CDMA handset. There is no IMEI for a CDMA handset as it uses ESN/MEID.

@nitink: You have quoted an old post, all members will be able to upload 2 MB attachment as of now
  15. Not Able To Receive Sms From Bank Or Google Sms Channel

It is very likely that the sending network does not have that number series in their database yet since it is a new series.
  16. Not Able To Receive Sms From Bank Or Google Sms Channel

What is your Reliance number series? Have you asked HDFC Bank support why you are unable to receive their alerts? It would be much easier to figure out the reason through HDFC's side than Reliance's side since bank's technical support would be more prompt to check the issue.

  22. I received an SMS yesterday with my full name in it informing me that I have won a "Pearl Set Worth M.R.P. Rs.2500/. Absolutely Free." and I have to send "SMS LUCKY" to 56263042. These guys are small time fraudsters compared to their Nigerian cousins who normally claims unbelievable prizes like US$1000 million, etc. Since a gift worth "Rs.2500" is more "believable" some may think it is "genuine". After some Googling I came across "victims" saying that after sending the redemption reply, they asked for Rs.525 as "postal, insurance & handling charges" for sending it via courier. Someone even received the packet after a few days as Cash on Delivery was available and they received a very cheap looking pearl set (which you can get from the roadside seller). Many seems to have got no response at all and lost 3 bucks for sending SMS to the premium number and the fraudsters earned money from that. These fraudsters are probably sending the SMS via internet that the number is untraceable and thus unable to report to TRAI. I received this SMS even though I am subscribed to DND.
  23. << Topic cleaned up. If anyone has "something" to "sell", they can do it in the "Buy / Sell - Bazaar" forum and not here >>
