  1. All About Nokia 6265

Query: Guys I have a simple question to the experts When I mark multiple items, the send options is not visible. Which means that if i want to send multiple items via bluetooth...i have to do it one by one that is so painful... I have heard that this is not the problem with other nokia phones Can anyone help me how to work around this problem...or is it that I am unable to find that option? There is some good news also.. I could finally transfer my addres book from lg rd2030 to nokia phone... Here is what i did: 1) went to lg service centre , they gave me an excel file in a 1.44 inch FLOPPY with all the data free of cost.. Last time i asked them to do it a month back, they were charging 80 Rs and they cant email us..even now.. they still use the ancient floppy method 2) i formatted the file 3) i still have to buy a bluetooth dongle , so i had to rely on my friend's mac with an inbuilt bluetooth. 4)But on mac , nokia pc suite does not work, so i tried isync for mac, which does not support 6265. so i got something called onsync, i got a crack for it and i could finally transfer the whole book........... vow i had to transfer some 300 people with approx 450-500 nos. in total....i just loved the wait
  2. All About Nokia 6265

hey guys, the WAP stuff is a bit confusing. i tried accessing thru minibrowser (r world-> options) it gave me 403 forbidden but then i installed opera mini browser thru bluetooth, and to my delight it did open up site, though as schumi said, at times, i did have to do a reload to get the page and certain pages were not at all opening. all shud try opera mini, it is gr8. but my query is how is it accessing, on GSM you generally have to activate your GPRS, how is it working here, we have not done any activation, is it happening thru rworld or cdma data access, is it chargeable??

  5. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Guys no more speculation. It's on street. I have it on my hand. I got the 6265 from a Nokia Priority Dealer, who happens to be my friend. I am in Ahmedabad, and I guess I would be one of the first guys to buy it. I also got it at a much lesser price than most people have got it in this forum. The phone is awesome, with great pictures. Used bluetooth, did a video recording, It has miniSD card 64 MB free. It comes with a new reliance RUIM card. Yes its true, CDMA will now have something similar to GSM sim card. I am so excited that I will soon be puttin up more details along with the pictures of the phone on my blog: http://www.tapan.in/wordpress/ Do visit it from 28 july onwards to get the latest on it. I just registered here to put in a post to say thanks to schumi, chirag and other guys who regularly posted here and whose info and speculation has really hottened up the market and convinced me that this phone is my panacea.
