well 2 months ago i wanted to buy a good gsm phone resonably priced & along with mnay models of nokia & sony i also considered Sagem My700x http://bleu.in/specialoffers-big1.html

But i was not able to find it anywhere in the market. I even mailed & called some of its sales managers to tell me where can i see the product but they did'nt sounded very keen to deal with a prospect buyer. Anyhow i managed to find the phone at one shop but but after seeing it i was not very convinced with the build quality & did'nt found it value for money.

Such brand whcih does not have retail outlets , what will happen to its after sales ???

These brands are ony good if u want to buy a cheap handset.

if u have a gsm connection why don't u try Airtel Mobile Office on an edge enabled handset. If that works then u dont have to struck ur money on datacards which are good for nothing if u plan to change them & switch to some better service.

well Mahendra if airtel is providing such good service at so cheap rates ( rs 15*30days =rs450 for a month )then i think soon cdma data cards will bercome things of the past.

I am using Nokia 6275 today I have sent a business card to my friend and he replied that error message displays as "Unable to open message format not supported".Can anyone help me to send business card via SMS ?

Business card is a format that is supported by only nokia handsets. So if u send a business card to from Nokia to any other brand handset, it will surely display 'format not supported message'. It's always better to write name & contact no. in a sms & then send it.

An year ago in Delhi i had this internet on pc through gprs on Idea network. But the speed ****ed so i got it deactivated. Even now when i surf on mobile through gprsthe speed is still as slow as earlier. I dont know about other service providers.

well i must tell u that actually it is gimmick spread by sound card manufacturers about the quality of sound produced. They will show u some graphs & figures obtained through some lab tests but in actual human ears are not capable of differentiating between such sound qualities. Almost all sound cards produce same quality sound, be it creative, logitech or even intex. They use somewhat same chipset unless it is a prfossional audio production sound card.

Moreover a mp3 ripped at 128 kbps is almost 10 times less in quality than cd sound.

Actually the quality of sound depends more on the quality of speakers. Speakers made for pc do not produce as good sound as speakers meant for home theatre system made by some professional companies like dennon, genelec, behringer & above all bose.

Do not spend money on sound card, they are all same buy any card in the range of 250-500 max. You'll get a good set of pc speakers for 1000-2000, there are many manufacturers other than creative & logitech. Dont go by brand name just check their sound quality & clarity with your ears buy the one u find sounding better.

To check the speaker's quality play 2-3 tracks which have heavy bass & sharp treable sound in it. Play those tracks at different volume levels of the speakers. if speakers does'nt gives throbing/cracking/bursting sound on heavy bass & treble/sharp part of the songs. That denotes its a good quality speaker.

I think none of Series 40 handset supports voice converstion recording

who told u that series 40 phones do not support voice recording ?

i was using nokia 6230(gsm) from 2.5 yrs even that phone supported voice recording.

Now i m using nokia 3110c with 1 gb mem card. This phone also supports voice conversation recording. While i record the conversation it shows that it can recford for 1 hr. But one thing i did'nt liked is that while recording conversation it gives a beep after every 5 sec which is audible on both ends.

Rest this phone is fine (1.3 m pix cam, stereo mp3 player, fm, pc sync, mem card slot, good display 262k )

yeah it has 2 slots and takes 2 SIMs, either 2 CDMA or 2 GSM or CDMA and GSM.

However only one can work at one time. To switch SIMs, there is a menu option tht`ll help u switch instantaneously.

if only one sim can work at a time then this phone is useless. No matter which sim u select for outgoing,

atleast incoming for both the sim should be active all the time.

only then this phone should be called as a 'Dual Sim Phone' else this phone should be called as an expensive SIM case/cover or holder.
